Urj Camp Kalsman
Campers from across the Pacific Northwest - Oregon, British Columbia, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, and Washington - call Camp Kalsman home. We are committed to our six core values: friendship, kehilah kedoshah (sacred community), Reform Jewish identity, chesed (kindness), connection to Israel, and our relationship to teva (nature).

Camp Kalsman's 300 beautiful acres offer a great balance of education and recreation. We practice active Jewish education, which incorporates Judaism into many different activities. Our campers learn new skills and hone existing ones in athletic, aquatic, artistic, and nature programs. Camp Kalsman is the premiere Jewish camp in the Pacific Northwest.
Services
Thank you for choosing to make a donation to URJ Camp Kalsman! Your generous contribution will directly improve the lives of thousands of Jewish youth for decades to come. By making a monetary investment in our capital improvements, scholarships, programs, staff and other funds, you are investing in the future of Jewish life.
Kalsman offers programs for children currently in grades 1 through 12. Our sessions range in length from 1 week to 5 weeks, and focus on specific areas of interest, including Kibbutz life, the arts, Hebrew immersion, outdoor challenge, and more! Coogarim campers currently in 1st and 2nd grade join us at camp for 7 days in either Aleph, Bet, or Gimmel sessions.
URJ Camp Kalsman campers in Bonim through Kesher will have the opportunity to try out three daily chugim (electives), one in each activity area of camp. They'll come home with new skills in creative and performing arts, waterfront and sports activities, and outdoor adventure and Teva (nature) programs!
Located in the Pacific Northwest, URJ Camp Kalsman provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable camp experience. With over 300 acres of land, great sports and arts facilities, and a pool, there are plentiful indoor and outdoor spaces for campers to learn, live and explore all summer. And all campus buildings are within a few minutes' walk of each other, creating an environment that is both safe and accessible for children of all ages.
Our sources tell us that the Camp Kalsman Dining Hall will be the place to be this summer. We'll see you there! WARNING: Reading this menu might cause you to become really, really hungry! If you have any questions about our Summer Meal program, please call the camp office! The spirit of Camp Kalsman revolves around our Chadar Ochel (dining hall).

I recommend to any parent who’s interested in sending their kid to summer camp. This summer camp has a really caring community and I’ve met friends that will last a lifetime there. The camp’s environment is surrounded by beautiful trees and a lovely lake. I love camp and can’t wait to come back each year :)
