Caolo & Bieniek Associates, Inc. is a full service architectural design firm, providing clients throughout New England with a complete range of architectural services encompassing Facilities Assessment, Feasibility Studies, Master Planning, Interior Design, Historic Preservation, 3-D Renderings, Sustainable Design (LEED and MA-CHPS), New & Renovation Construction Documents and Administration.
Our design team has successfully completed numerous Fire Department, Police Department and Public Safety Complex projects, including studies, renovations and additions, and new construction for urban, suburban and rural communities.

As the services provided by public libraries continue to shift and expand, our team has evolved, renovating historic buildings and designing libraries that implement new technologies and help create modern, multi-functional and thriving community centers.
A renovation and expansion of the historic century-old Carnegie Library, the project included plaster repair, effective laylight in place of the original skylight, new standing seam roof and a revisioned front entry that reflects the classic style of the building.After demolition of the two existing additions to the original library, a two-story addition was built, housing most of the new library and library services.

The study included field review of existing conditions of site, architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, accessibility and building code needs. An assessment was also conducted of the fire department's needs for living space, office & training facilities, apparatus space, equipment / storage, support spaces and potential for community use.
As Principal-in-Charge, Curtis Edgin is often the guiding force for clients as they see their hopes and visions brought to life. Curtis manages the planning, design, marketing, and corporate construction overviews for a variety of projects, including municipal, educational, state- and federally-funded projects and health care facilities.
