Services
We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Battle Creek community since 2010. Prior to opening her own office, Dr. Poindexter had been serving the Battle Creek community in another chiropractic office since 2006. She moved to Battle Creek after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic because of the opportunities she found here.
Erin Schachterle is the Office Manager and has been with Healing Touch Chiropractic since it opened. She has worked in chiropractic offices since 2006. She also is the receptionist and biller. She is very enthusiastic about chiropractic and its benefits. Chiropractic has kept her and her family exceptionally healthy.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up "stuck" spinal joints.
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance. We've found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you'll enjoy.
While chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine and its impact on the nervous system, massage focuses on the 650 muscles of the body. Relaxation promotes a host of benefits for the mind and body including a heightened sense of well-being, release of muscle tension, and relief from anxiety and depression.
