Holy Cross High School prepares your child with the necessary tools to live a happy, fulfilled life for college and beyond! Here, challenging academics are learned through individual attention. Competitiveness thrives through sportsmanship. Creativity blossoms in open-minded thinking. Most importantly, individual voices are formed, nurtured and celebrated in small class sizes.

Holy Cross High School is the fully realized vision of Blessed Basil Moreau to educate each person in body, mind and soul. He believed his students should be well-prepared to make choices in life that are inspired by faith and informed by reason. Since our inception in 1968, we welcome those who are seeking a traditional college preparatory education which has stood the test of time.
In the aftermath of the French Revolution, the quality of educational, parochial and pastoral services was slow in recovering. Even after three decades, discouragement was often the lens through which people looked toward the future. Blessed Basil Moreau entered this arena as a man of hope, convinced of humanity's goodness and potential, recognizing the "image of God imprinted" within all people.
Holy Cross students donate countless hours of service to members of local and extended communities. Service projects take place throughout the year, even when school isn't in session. Many take place concurrently with others. However, there is one major difference that separates Holy Cross from many other schools.
Rental opportunities abound at Holy Cross High School, located off Oronoke Road on a gracious, peaceful 32 acre wooded setting, a bit up the road from the Waterbury Country Club. We also offer a campus-wide WiFi and ample parking. For more information, please contact Kathleen Partin '93, Director of Finance & Human Resources.
