The Red Acre Barn is breathtaking! The facility, the land surrounding it, it's beautiful. So private you feel you're in your own little world. We kept our wedding decor minimal because the barn itself is so beautiful there is no need to add much of anything! Everything you need is right there.
The kitchen is huge, bathrooms are large enough to accommodate big weddings, the Bride's room is perfect for getting ready and has it's own bathroom attached.Groom has their own room on the opposite side of venue, and fully stocked bar with very friendly bartenders for the reception. The owners are easy and wonderful to work with!

Price includes: set up, tear down, bartenders, professional cleaning afterwards and security. Military/Veteran Discount: 5% off booking if bride and/or groom is serving in the military or has served. Law Enforcement Discount: 5% off booking if bride and/or groom is serving in law enforcement. In 2021 we are donating money to Unravel Pediatric Cancer.

10, 32 in. When do I have access to the venue on my wedding day? The hours are 9 am - midnight. Music and drinks from the bar stop at 11 pm. If you need to come in earlier than 9 am, that can be arranged. Can I book a rehearsal? Yes, you can book the weekend and decorate, rehearse and have dinner on Friday.

We can not say enough great things about Red Acre Barn! Everything was professional from start to finish and beautiful! Sherry was always so prompt to answer any questions I had and I appreciate her wedding advice and skills. I know a few friends who are now interested in having their wedding at the barn as well and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a romantic barn in the Central, Iowa location! We had a great time at our September wedding! Sherry was very helpful with all of our questions, and she even recommended some great vendors for us. We were able to view the space multiple times, so we felt ready on our wedding day. The grounds have great places for pictures too! Thanks for all the great memories!

Aside from the obvious of how incredibly gorgeous the venue is as well as the surrounding area, the owner Sherri was so great to work with. She answered all my questions clearly and in a timely manner. She set clear rules/expectations up front which made the whole process smooth. Their website is super informative and answers a ton of helpful questions. This has got to be one of the prettiest venues I have seen, and we toured a lot in the Des Moines area. It has a great romantic, rustic feel and is super roomy. I wish I could get married here again. We did not have issues with rescheduling due

The Red Acre Barn is such a beautiful wedding venue. I recently photographed a wedding here and the place was gorgeous inside and out, the staff were super friendly, and the entire day went so smoothly. The paved path to the outdoor ceremony location is SO NICE to have and there are beautiful views all around. Can't wait to photograph another wedding here.
