Dr. Lai is a da man!
I was feeling random pain with my left jaw and I did not know what to do. Instead of going to a random dentist, I called Dr. Lai's cell on a Saturday morning. Even though he did not pick up, I received a call an hour after leaving a message.
I was scheduled with a same day urgent appointment and Dr. Lai took his time after hours to see what happened. After doing a quick check up and some x-rays, I was diagnosed with cavity on one of my wisdom teeth.
Dr. Lai then gave me a referral to the best dentist in the Bay and I am so glad that he went above and beyond to help

I was looking for a dentist within Delta Dental network which lead me here. The front desk has a great system with SMS and has strong communication skills.
The entire facility adhered to COVID-19 guidelines and were very thorough in their sanitary procedures.
I had my initial evaluation before a 3 month work trip. A cavity was spotted and the dentist was very honest and thorough in their recommendations for the next step.

Dr. Lai is a fantastic dentist. I worked for him in another office for 10 years. He has performed dental treatment for myself and most of my family. We sometimes come to the Fremont location also depending on Dr. Lai's schedule. He has done treatment for not only myself but my Mom, Dad, Sister, boyfriend, and multiple friends. He is very skilled in many aspects of dentistry. He always makes sure the patient is comfortable, is time efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. I even had a behind the scene look at everything, and would highly recommend Dr. Lai to anyone and everyone

I didn't have a chance to get in. This is about the front desk customer services- Not even worth 1 star. Called 11 times in the past two weeks, not even once that I got someone to pickup the call - directly went to answering machine. My messages were never got call back. Not until I left an angry tone asking weather or not this ofice's receptionist ever pick up the call. That's when I got them to return my call. Not a word of apology and hurily hanged up the call when I said I was disappointed and would go somewhere else. Don't know how great these DDS are but front end customer

Dr. Yi has been my dentist for years. He is a knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly dentist with gentle hands. :) His office has top notch customer service and everyone is always very friendly, helpful and professional. Nice clean office with modern tech and regular reminders via phone, email and text for scheduled appointments - which is helpful for people with busy schedules. I moved out of the area over two years ago, but continue to see Dr. Yi at American Dental Group in Fremont because he is the best dentist I've had and his staff is great. I couldn't imagine switching practices

The receptionist always picks your phone and they send a reminder email a few days a head of your appointment which is really helpful but you do have to reply to their call to confirm your appointment. Usually you don't have to wait at all for your appt and the worse would be less to wait 10 minutes. The doctors spend time talking and explaining your option/plans and they are professional and friendly. They are definitely not after your money or insurance and that's very obvious when you visit them even the first time. They are a good example of how other dentist offices should be.

This dental practice is acceptable, I 've seen better ones. But the star is the receptionist service. Rude, never answers back the emails. After all, an excellent customer service on top of a professional quality service is the best. I should read more about the reviews on yelp before attend here. Is hard to find an appointment and doctor availability since they don't open every day and as a client, you can't avoid to book and deal with a rude unprofessional receptionist.

Wonderful experience at this dental practice! Reception, dental hygienist, and dentist were warm, professional, and efficient. The dental hygienist and dentist explained everything to me as they were doing the cleaning/exam. They were also entertaining and made me feel very comfortable! I highly recommend them!!

Omg horrible customer service. I called to schedule an appointments the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude. She couldn't find me in their system Becuz they had entered my phone number wrong. Which is dumb. She couldn't search by first and last name. When she finally found me in the system she said my appt was the day before and I missed the appt. But I never received any confirmation call. She urged with me saying they called the wrong number they have on file for me in their system. But it's not my fault if they entered my number wrong. Regardless of the situation she

I am deathly afraid of the dentist and have not gone in over 10 years. But I finally went and the staff here were so welcoming and warm and made my experience very nice. I am for sure coming back and bringing my family here. They are also not the type to find bogus cavities and make up reasons for fillings to make money but they are honest which I definitely appreciate. If yelp had more stars to give I would give it.

Trying to get a good dentist can be a pain in the.. tooth, of course! This whole experience was a wonderful one! Got an appointment quite easily. They took all the details over the phone, and had the paperwork ready when I got there. The wait was non-existent! As soon as I had signed in, the dental assistant took me inside.
Dr. Lai was there, waiting for me. Did a thorough checkup, and then had the X-rays taken. By the time the assistant was done with the cleaning, Dr. Lai had taken a look at the X-rays and was back for the consultation
