Lincoln Park Boring Co. (LPB) is a family owned and operated business doing precision machine work for the past 60 years. Founded by Richard Yesue in 1956, LPB began with a small shop in Lincoln Park, MI. Mr. Yesue grew his business to two machining facilities in Romulus, MI. In 1984 his three children Rick, Nancy, and Gary became owner/operators.
Specializing in CNC vertical machining services and the production of large parts and large metal fabrication, Detroit based Lincoln Park Boring can machine components that weigh up to 240,000 lbs. Extensive CNC & Heavy vertical milling services are offered for a wide range of industries around the Michigan area, including power generation, machine tool makers, mining, military, and marine.
Throughout the Detroit, MI area, Lincoln Park Boring Co. provides horizontal machining services for prototype and short run production of a wide range of large components. With extensive production capabilities, including 3-axis machining as well as CNC controls, we can handle machining of components that weigh up to 70 tons.
Lincoln Park Boring Co., located in the Detroit, MI area, has additional horizontal machining capabilities in our middle bay, servicing parts up to 10 tons in weight. Two Fives Giddings & Lewis RT-130's & Three CNC Devlieg Jig Mills offer 3-axis machining services to short run customer parts. These machines can produce medium to large sized components machined to exact customer specifications.
Throughout the Detroit, MI area, Lincoln Park Boring Co. offers jig bore machining services for numerous applications. These machines routinely work, hold and finish parts within tenths of an inch (.0001). Extremely accurate positioning produces outstanding accuracy for bore sizes as well as locating and holding dimensions.
