Services
On the OB/GYN side, we offer a variety of gynecological services and procedures, as well as everything a mommy-to-be needs - from prenatal to postpartum care and everything in between. For your convenience we provide 3D mammograms and ultrasounds (gynecologic, prenatal as well as 3D/4D) directly in our office.
The clinicians at A Woman's View approach every phase of a woman's life with care and sensitivity. Whether you are a young woman having your first gynecologic exam or a postmenopausal woman with incontinence issues, we have a team of supportive clinicians and staff to make your visit as comfortable and informative as possible.
If your pap smear is abnormal, your provider may order a colposcopy, a procedure that utilizes a colposcope, an instrument with a magnifying lens and light, to examine the cervix and vagina. The colposcope allows the clinician to see the tissues more clearly. Your provider may take a small sample of tissue (a cervical biopsy) for further examination in the lab.
If you wish to discuss any acute issues with your provider during your annual exam, you may be subject to a copay or coinsurance. At A Woman's View, we believe in preventive healthcare for our patients. We aim for disease prevention in an effort to maintain wellness, and the annual exam presents a perfect opportunity to explore measures to prevent disease.
Birth control is something many women use, but something few women completely understand. This is because there are many different options available, including pills, injections, topical patches, slow-release systems and others. Additionally, choosing which form to use and which dose is best depends on factors that are unique to your health and preferences.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND COME HERE!!!!!!!!! it’s new and professional looking but once you get behind that, there’s nothing professional at all. If you have a problem and the medication they prescribed you doesn’t work after 6 days you will have to come back in and pay for the entire $200 exam all over again. If you’re prescribed birth control at that problem exam and they’re scheduling out 3 months until the beginning of the next year they will only give you enough BC for until the exam, right? wrong.

I’ve always been a very anxious/nervous patient. However I do not feel that way when I go to A Woman’s View. They are always nice, professional and welcoming. The nurses and doctors take time to listen, answer questions and address concerns. The exams are thorough and great care is taken so you feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. I would highly recommend A woman’s view all around.
In addition I had previously been a patient of Dr. Billhorn who has since retired. I have seen Crystal Evans twice now and she is fantastic. Incredible bedside manner and a great listener who really

Although OBGYN physicals are not something that people look forward to, A Woman's View has a wonderful process and a kind, caring staff. I am so thankful for Teri Herman. She always makes me feel as comfortable as possible. She speaks softly and genuinely cares about her patients. She takes time to listen and discuss matters of concern.

I absolutely love A Women's View. I've had the same Dr for 5 years. Dr Ann Gonzalez. She' feels like a best girlfriend. I can talk to her about anything and she always takes the time to listen. If a need a wick appointment because I start feeling bad. They always get me in the same or next day. Yes I might see one of her PA's. But they too are awesome ladies. Lab work, mammogram, it's all right there. I highly recommend A Women's View.

I absolutely love A Woman's View. First of all, it is actually relaxing to walk into the office--what?? You read that right. I have had nothing but positive experiences with both of my providers (Teri Herman for gym and Kim Rector for primary care) and they will hear you out on all your problems, concerns, or just take the time to talk to you like a real human. They are very quick to respond on the patient portal... sometimes within the hour. I just love this office. So glad I switched from Catawba Women's Center.

I had my daughter in 2013, & I went here. I still come here for primary care. I see Karen Gimblet, whom I love. She always listens to me & talks to me like a friend. I feel like I can talk to her about anything and she doesn't judge me. I also love Latoya her nurse.
when I was pregnant, I had to go through the rotation of doctors, seeing as one of them (whoever is on call when you go into labor) would be delivering my baby & they want you to be comfortable with all of them.
I DO NOT LIKE DR. MONTES. AT ALL. I was 18 when I had my daughter. Motes was super judgmental, & rude

I have not had any kids or pregnancies but I come here for all my gynecologist checkups. So far I have seen Dara Curtis on my first visit, Dr. Bilhorn, and Dr. Lovin for various issues and all of them have been extremely caring and genuine, especially Dr. Lovin. She sat with me for almost an hour talking about every treatment possibility. I feel a lot more informed and less worried now. I also love that the staff is all female. 4 stars instead of 5 because I have had some slightly more difficult visits, but overall I would recommend this place.

Ok let's just get this out of the way...I absolutely LOVE this place!!! Here are some highlights from my visit:
1. Awesome decor and decorations! I know this has nothing to do with medical treatment but if you have to go to the doctor wouldn't you rather feel like you're in Pier 1 versus the ER room?
2. Quick and easy check in. Finally someone got it right.
3. Amazing staff. My nurse Tina was so sweet and she even held and kept my son happy while I was being examined. I also saw Dr. Worrell who came in and gave me a big hug and I felt like I've known her forever! Everyone
