It occurs because we humans live, buy, cook and dress. But what we can change, is the way we handle and dispose our waste afterwards. It is important that this is done in a sustainable way in order to protect the environment, and to utilize the earth's natural resources in the most efficient way. Contrary to what many people previously believed; the earth has no endless resources.
And if we're not careful, we will experience a lack of raw materials such as metals and oil in the future. Throughout history, waste has been handled very differently. It has been overlooked, moved, burned and recycled. During the 1700s and 1800s, people in the cities began moving their garbage out to the city borders, but as the city grew, this became a problem.

Industrial waste covers all the waste generated by businesses, production units, offices and bureaus during a manufacturing process. It consists of a wide variety of materials, including everything from paper, plastic and carboards to metal, wood, glass and organic materials such as dirt and gravel.
Bulky waste often covers types of waste that are too large to be recycled in the normal way. These include discarded furniture's (such as tables and sofas), large appliances (such as TVs and ovens), and plumbing fixtures (such as tubs, sinks and toilets). Due to their large size, they are often difficult to handle.
