In 1938 Sheldon Early was born near Harrisonburg, VA. Also in that year Mr. C.L. Custer started selling Cushman motor scooters from his home. Sales went well until the coming of World War II when all Cushman production was taken by the military. The young boy was fascinated by anything mechanical, especially the Cushmans he saw running up and down the roads.

Stonewall Harleydavidson refuse to put a tire on of an out of state traveler said they were booked, called Earleys they not only had the correct tire but when they got done with the work on that Saturday they put the tire on and got us home safe.

I just invested in a 2018 street bob from Harley Davidson !! The bike created a bounce in the front end and they told me it was in my head after discussing my problem with early‘s cycle Center they came up with a conclusion the front tire was going bad early mounted a new tire and the bike rides like a caddy

Wow! I was greeted by Mr. Sheldon Early. Still working the best Motorcycle shop in Harrisonburg Va. He shared the experience of life racing motorbikes, rebuilds, restoring, buying , selling, servicing all kinds. His Grand children, 14 and 17, are in the business of racing too. Speaks volumes of His character. Thank you for all you do keeping America Rolling and letting me visit. God bless

I was on a trip from henryville, pa to Knoxville Tennessee when I hit 600 miles and had to get my initial service done.I didn’t want to just keep driving because the chain had stretched out pretty good and it was still on the same motor oil. No one would do it as it was the beginning of the season and everyone was booked. This included early’s. I had offered to pay double to get it expedited and fully expected to. They were able to do the full service and get it back to me in a less than 24hour period. And they charged me for the regular service. I also picked up a tank protector and wireless

Pleasant on the phone & in person, very good affordable service. They installed a new tire on my bike. Did a great job, charged me less than the last place I went & were nice to me while I waited. Has the old school feel of a service business instead of the 'As seen on tv' type place that just wants to sell you the most expensive thing.

Friendly: I didn't want t just leave a blank after "friendly". I don't know... how about "Really, Really, Friendly from the minute you walk in, no hovering or smothering like you might steal something.
Knowledgeable (or, if you ask them a Stumper, can refer you someone who is)
Courteous & Patient: NOT Pushy on the sales end. They'll gladly discuss a bike on the floor, pluses/minuses, pros/cons, etc.,
