Let's talk about the kids first. At age seven, we can start to spot and predict orthodontic issues. When the adult teeth start emerging, a child's bone structure is flexible enough for early dentition and preventative orthodontics to have a real effect. Most adolescents start around age 12, when the adult teeth have fully emerged but the child has yet to hit a big growth spurt.

Your first visit to Flores Orthodontics establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. You'll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more.
What if I have a gap in my teeth, a chipped tooth or teeth that do not respond to normal bleaching methods?. The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend visiting a dentist at least twice a year for a check-up and professional cleaning. Our office also recommends a minimum of two visits per year.

Yayyy! I'm finally happy with my smile. I began my orthodontic journey by shopping around and ultimately decided on this office. I'm so glad I did! From the first consultation, to every office visit, and to the last consult where I was shown my before and after photos, they have always treated me with the utmost professionalism. Dr. Florez has been our family orthodontist since 2002. Wow it's been 16 years since he first started my sisters' braces and their teeth still look great. So of course, I decided to go see him when it was time for me to get mine. Dr. Florez is very personal and family oriented and the customer service is excellent. His office made appointments easy to schedule and reschedule as needed. Dr. Florez even help recommend an oral surgeon to uncover a tooth that never fully came in. He handled the situation with ease. Basically the experience went exactly as planned.
