An adjustable rate mortgage, or ARM, offers a fixed rate for a period of time, most commonly 3, 5, 7, or 10 years. After the introductory period ends the interest rate for the loan will adjust up or down. This move depends upon the current rate of the loan's index plus the loan's set margin. The benefit is that the initial rate is generally lower than a comparable fixed rate loan (although this is not always the case).

Aaron was so very helpful to my husband and I - this was our first 'moving' experience since 1984, and he was just the perfect person to work with! The staff at Pike Creek are amazing. Mike Doherty helped us buy our first home 3 years ago and this week he helped us refinance our mortgage. Pike Creek Mortgage well exceeded my expectations. As a first-time home buyer I found the staff very competent, patient and willing to take time to explain (sometime multiple times) the mortgage process. The online portal made uploading multiple documents of different sizes and types very easy. Communication was frequent and the staff worked diligently to assist in moving me through the process in an accelerated timeline so I could close quickly.
