Services
Emil Anderson, a Danish convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was a carpenter when he arrived in the United States. He was called upon by the community to furnish a casket and later helped with the funeral needs of the community. He started with this simple carpenter's shop and did most of his work in the deceased's home.
American Fork, Utah - Anderson & Sons Mortuary was recently honored by the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) with the 2019 Pursuit of Excellence. Only 160 firms from around the world received this prestigious recognition, placing Anderson & Sons Mortuary among an elite group of funeral service professionals.

My wife passed in March, we used the 1928 Ford antique coach(hearse).it was at the Cedar Fort cemetery, it was such a hit, most all commented on it and took pictures, I was so impressed that Anderson's had such a vehicle to use. Today I went to my cousin's viewing. She looked beautiful. The mortuary was clean, peaceful and welcoming. The scheduling and physical arrangements with Corona-virus compliance was smooth and accessible. Having the services easily available online, was a comfort and a blessing for those not able to attend. Anderson and Sons did a wonderful job, just like they did a few years ago when my father passed away. Their funeral services are unsurpassed.

Andersons, in particular Andrew, helped my family with a very difficult situation. Not that any passing is easy for a family but we had transportation from out of state and cosmetic issues to deal with. They were a great help and handled everything professionally. We first used Anderson and Sons Mortuary when my mother-in-law passed away. We got to know them and really liked them. Great people. My father-in-law has a pre-paid funeral with them. So, when my daughter passed away unexpectedly, we turned to them. There was no pressure. They put my mind at ease and the funeral went very well.
