However, Harkes Landscape Mangement, LLC was previously named Roger Harkes Lawn Maintenance, but in 2008, we changed the name to Harkes Landscape Management, LLC to better describe what we do. The grass clippings are valuable to the lawn. When the clippings decompose, they are turned into nutrients that the grass plants use to grow. In addition, mulching a yard helps to keep the landscape beds cleaner compared to side-discharging them. Grass that grows underneath a tree is at a disadvantage.
