Paul Ferradas was born in Lima, Peru. At the age of 4, his family moved to the United States. San Jose, California was his home for most of his early childhood. In the late seventies Paul moved to Miami, Florida for several years. It was there where he began to absorb all the diverse cultures and wonderful colors that areas like South Beach had to offer.
Art and culture was everywhere, an inspiration that would open doors to see life as one big piece of art. Without any formal training in photography or cinematography, Paul began to study the works of iconic photographers that he admired such as Mario Testino which is also from Lima Peru, Richard Avedon, and Raphael Mazzucco to name a few.

Paul is an extremely gifted fashion photographer. I'm absolutely blown away by the images he took for me - he's a true artist, and just the photographer I've been in search of to take my branding and jewelry design business to a whole new level. Paul was super friendly and really professional! I loved the shots he did for me and my colleagues. We had a big group and he was definitely more patient with us than most people would be :)
I feel like he took the right amount of photos and different angles that I had options but wasn't overwhelmed with analysis paralysis.

Haha I feel like all I'm doing is writing photography related reviews.
Ok, so Paul's photography work speaks for itself. You just have to look at his portfolio to see that.
My review is specifically towards a photography and retouching workshop that Paul did this past weekend. And the workshop rocked.
Here are the small details that made it great -
1. Paul assembled a world class team. The model was really pretty and very professional (even though she was super young), and the makeup artist Jackie did a fantastic job.
2. The theme of the workshop is lighting and retouching. And

Paul is a wonderful photographer. I have worked with quite a few photgraphers and I would put him up there with the top ones. He is very professional and gives great advice. He has an eye for what he wants to capture. The photos come out amazing, and he's work to touch them up speaks for itself. As a model, I would def work with him again. He allows you to give your input on the ones you like and we work together to get the best shots. As with some photographers who only give you 3 or 4 that they like. Paul did a fantastic job on the product photography we had him do. From the very beginning Paul was very upfront about the budget and cost and stuck to them to the end. Paul is timely and thorough in his communications as well as friendly and approachable in person. He understood the needs of our project and executed well. Paul is also great at working with models and was really able to get the performance we needed out of them. In the end, the photos themselves (most important part) turned out perfect and we've received a lot of positive feedback already! Thanks Paul.

Paul was an excellent choice for a photographer for my daughter's first birthday. Our party was both indoors and outdoors and he got excellent photos in both environments. He took so much many fabulous candid shots of my daughter, our family and all of her baby friends. He was able to capture special moments in a totally non-intrusive way. Paul is polite, professional and very responsive to requests. I highly recommend Paul as a photographer for any of special events which you want preserved with beautiful photographs to last a lifetime.

What a great photographer with such great talent and an eye for photography. Paul did a photoshoot for me and I had so much fun doing it. I did it to capture my youth and a bit of a present for my boyfriend. During the shoot, it was absolute fun. My make-up artist came out and she had a blast and we all had lots of fun. He took soo many great pictures it was hard to pick out the ones I wanted. I personally think he's one of the best photographers I've met. Great for modelling portfolios. Go check them out, they are gorgeous. He's definently one of the best photographers to work with
