The truth the fashion industry doesn't want you to know is that most of us don't have symmetrical, perfectly-proportional bodies. However, the mass-produced clothes you find in the majority of the stores are made for what is considered an average symmetrical person. This means that you will need to get your clothes altered in order for them to fit the imperfectly-perfect-you.
For our clients' convenience European Tailoring is open on Saturdays. While you don't need to make an appointment, please be advised that the shop gets busier closer to the weekends, and there might be a short wait to be seen. Amazing shop and wonderful tailor! I was supposed to attend a wedding as a bridesmaid in Brazil and so the bride sent me my dress in the post. It was a stunning long black gown but just didn't fit right. I went to see Ina hoping she could help me. Wow! She tailored the dress to fit me perfectly, so flattering. I was so impressed. Please do not hesitate to put her at the top of your list for tailors. Very reasonable prices and worth every penny as you know you will get a quality job done right! So happy to have met her!

Inna could not complete a simple repair of a 1955 Christian Dior dress. She insisted her poorly placed hand stitches were acceptable on a bodice side seam even though any seamstress would know that couture hand stitching is not done on the construction but on the fine details and areas where hand tailoring is needed. I feel taken by her wonderful self accolades and will not visit again.

Inna at European Tailoring is an expert at repairing clothes or just making them fit better. Moreover, she's a pleasure to work with. Her work is consistently top notch. She will also tell you if the garment you are trying to salvage is worth fixing or if it is unlikely to come out well. I appreciate her willingness to turn down jobs when the outcome is not likely to be successful. There is even customer parking right in front of her shop, which is quite convenient.
