I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed at the less second, and they fit me right in the next day and had my dress ready right on time and it fit perfectly! The seamstress even put in an invisible zipper so I could breathe a little easier in the dress. Reasonably priced, And great service, especially under a time crunch!

Got my measurements done for the first time for my best friend's wedding in October. I called them yesterday and the lady I spoke to was happy to fit me in as early as today despite the busy time of the year. I won't leave their names here but the two women there were lovely. They made the experience a pleasant one and if I'm ever in need of their services again, I won't hesitate to go back. Thank you! p.s. love the name of the shop!

Brought my rental suit in for simple pant and jacket length alterations on Tuesday 5/11 which I needed for pickup the following Wednesday. She accepted the job (without any pressure by me) after lecturing me about how I did not make an appointment and the turnaround is usually 10 days, and I had only given her eight. Since the rental was delivered Saturday 5/8 and she is closed Sunday and Monday, I brought in the suit at the earliest possible time. The cost was $47 (pricey but was willing to oblige since I felt bad for the seemingly tight timeline) and pickup time was 4:35 on Wednesday 5/19 the

She made sure that the fit would be perfect, and her pricing was very fair, unlike I had read about the high prices of other providers. She is a wonderful person with a wonderful business. I got back my vest in a matter of a few days and it was a perfect fit

I can't believe I never wrote a review for Sew Amazing! Krystyna is absolutely amazing so the name totally fits!
My twin sister got her bridesmaid dress altered here for my wedding and it turned out perfect! When I was a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding a little over a year ago I decided to check out Sew Amazing and get my dress altered by her.
Most recently, my sister bought a wedding dress online and it did not fit her well at all. Krystyna was able to totally re-invent her dress and even created a cool belt around her waist with the extra material.

I love this alterations/tailoring spot. I'm personally all over the place and and the staff is very accommodating and patient with me. Don't be like me though, LOL. I've brought in a couple of pants, skirts, and jumpsuits in and they were all taken in very well at a very reasonable price. I even had one pair of pants that another alterations place worked on poorly and sew amazing was able to reverse and fix their damage perfectly! I was so relived that my pants were saved and not ruined! 10 stars. Thumbs up.

I am a MOH in my best friends wedding coming up & I lost a significant amount of weight since buying my dress. I brought it in to Krystyna and she brought it in 6 inches and added padding to the breast area and made the dress look beautiful. Not to mention she was quick and very affordable. I had a green and gold wedding anarkali that needed some minor adjustments in the bust and arms. Krystyna's work was amazing! She's such a pro at all sorts of alterations. I sent my (now) husband there for his suit alterations and my sister-in-law for her bridesmaid dress to be altered as well! All of us were so happy with our alterations and looked fantastic at the wedding. Her prices are also perfect, she works fast with a lot of care, and her personality is wonderful! Krystna is a master at alterations. I had bought a dress that needed major alterations and she re worked the entire thing so it fit my specific measurements. She is not cheap but her work is Exceptional and well worth the price not to have to worry and have the job done well the first time. I am AMAZED with the quality of the service I received. I don't remember the woman's name, but she is a true professional. The top part of my bridesmaids dress was made for a much larger chested woman. She needed to take a significant amount of fabric off of the top of my dress, removed and replaced the capped sleeves, made sure I had enough room for my arm, and the dress was a perfect fit. I will never go anywhere else!!!!!

I went to three other tailors before coming here to price tailoring white dress. Checked out a place in Middletown which door posted not taking in more alterations, Connie's place which quoted me $95, without any breakdown for price on what is how much, another place in newington who quoted $40 for straps and $45 for loosing waist for Lace dress.
Last hope was this place in west Hartford, parking is street parking, paid meter, depends on day of week and time. I had trouble finding the place since it's located inside the building, on basement level, it's does not have a storefront

Krystyna is as amazing as the name of her business suggests. I needed major alterations to the dress I bought to wear to my son's wedding in September, and Krystyna worked her magic. The whole bodice of the dress had lace appliques, and while I was a little nervous about how it would come out, there was no need to worry. Krystyna did such an amazing job, the dress looked like it was custom made for my body. I cannot believe Krystyna does not have any reviews for her business. I went to her to have her try to fix a bridesmaids dress that I had completely ruined by another place and she did more than I had hoped for. She not only fixed my dress but she was pleasant, reasonably priced, and I felt that she genuinely cared about my satisfaction with the finished product. I have been back a few times since and I am so happy I found this hidden secret.
