The Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) meets the highest of educational standards and is regulated by the Indiana State Workforce Innovation Council, Office for Career and Technical Schools. The CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep (CCS) credential was established in 1983 to provide homeowners a means to measure a chimney sweep's technical expertise.

A Level 1 inspection is recommended for a chimney under continued service, under the same conditions, and with the continued use of the same appliance.

Update: I am happy to update my review after being contacted by the company. I have received the inspection report in a matter of seconds after speaking with the office. They tried to email the report but it bounced back as undelivered and they did not have my contact information. I guess my takeaway: even though the realtors schedule these inspections-call and ensure they have all correct contact details from the beginning. In fairness to the company, I changed my rating from 2 starts to 4 stars.

NF Chimney is a very reputable company. They worked very hard and kept me updated on the progress of my chimney rebuild. I am extremely pleased with the quality of their work as well as the pride they take in doing a great job. Would highly recommend them if you need to have a chimney and fireplace rebuild which is a very big job. Don’t use a roofer to do this job, use a team certified in this type of work.

I had an issue with bats due to some damage to my chimney. I needed some storm damage to the chimney foundation repaired before I could have hardware parts replaced. Lawrence recommended Simpson LLC for wood and siding work (awesome) and then ordered custom components required for my chimney to be complete! He even went the extra mile in properly sealing the newly installed parts. He is extremely knowledgeable and was willing to answer all of my lengthy questions. Lawrence replaced a damaged floor plate of a manufactured fireplace for us. Very happy with the work. Polite clean and professional about what he did. Finding someone to do this particular job was kind of hard, finding a sweep wasn't the problem getting someone who would take on the harder labor was but NFC answered our call.
