Rather than soak off my gel Polish, the nail technician used an electric burr, which cut off several layers of my nail surface, that caused significant peeling and breaks. I have strong nails and never have had a problem with peeling. It has been months and it hasn't grown out yet and I'm still not able to get gel polish- that's how badly they are damaged. I was loyal customer- a few times a month- but won't go back.

I had an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure at 5:30 pm which is nothing close to the closing time as stated on google. However, the whole visit was so rushed and the polish was so messy! I had to request for a clean up after the polish because it was all on the sides of my nails plus the toe polish was just awful! I feel that it is common courtesy to let your customer know if you're short on time and unable to complete the task efficiently. It was such a sad experience since I was looking forward to my self care day! I just hope that Luxe nails will treat their customers right and equal

On my first visit, I got a regular manicure and pedicure. The experience was fine but I felt like it was overpriced and they don’t have massage chairs. The mani lasted only a few days before it started chipping. I went back for a second visit, out of convenience since it’s very close to my house, to get gel manicure and pedicure. It looked very nice and lasted but the experience was terrible! I was there for over two and a half hours. They did my one toenail 5 times with no explanation, even though I asked twice. By the fifth time, my toe was sore and bleeding. Despite all that, they charged

Very nice staff who in spite of being short staffed and working long hours are always accommodating. I wish more people understood how difficult it to run a small business these days. Luxe nails has been very accommodating, i was an hour late for my appointment i put the wrong time on my calendar, I had an appointment for myself, my mom and my sister..they still managed to fit us in.. I had my daughters wedding that weekend and truly appreciated it.

Made my wedding nail appointment. Called a few hours before to let them know that I had a spray tan and won't be able to soak my feet..."how do you expect to get a pedicure?" I think a decent nail tech would know that you can paint nails without soaking them first. I would rather do my own nails for my wedding than give my money to a business with such a rude owner.

The set in the picture isn’t even a week old. It cracked after three days and I went back to get it fixed. I told them it was hurting my fingers and all they did was throw another topcoat on it. Then a couple days later I went back because the nail itself cracked in my finger started bleeding. I asked for compensation or refund and they said no. They said that they could fix it but they were overbooked today.

Jessica did an amazing job! :) I just get normal polish but it seems to last forever when I get my nails done there! She spoiled me with the best massage even though it was 10 minutes past closing time! Everyone was in a good mood and giggling with each other while cleaning up. I think this is a very well run salon.

Update: reading the response from the business, it seems the focus is about the pride of the owner versus serving customers. I'm not sure how calling to say I'm going to be late or leaving to pick up my prescription, literally across the parking lot, is "disrespectful", nor is calling my husband since he was my ride. The point the owner is making is that to sit there was to demonstrate respect to him, by reading his mind that that was what he expected of me- because this was never communicated to me. That says it all about this business.

I truly feel terrible about leaving a bad review, but I asked for extensions, and the person doing my nails started to dip them, but not add extensions. The drill and cuticle cutter made many nicks on my hands, and I was left paying $50 for nails I did not ask for. When I asked if we could still add length to my nails, they continued on to finish them at their length and said it couldn’t be done. They’re uneven, bleeding, and not what I asked for. I had a fabulous experience. New to the area, I was looking for a new spa pedicure person. I was delighted when I sat in the chair and they handed me a menu of services of which to choose! I could order more time for the massage, hot stone, add on a neck massage, etc. They started a timer when the massage started which I thought was terrific. No feeling cheated..... this will be my go to place!

But then I had to sit and wait -- more than 20 minutes -- for someone to get free to do my manicure. I was seated right next to another customer, and would have been more comfortable with more spacing between chairs.
When I sat down for the manicure, the old gels came off easily, but then the tech proceeded to rough up the nail surface with that electric grinding tool they have. She was sloppy, and it hurt... she was all over my cuticles with it, to the point that one

Wow. I have never left a nail salon review, but left Luxe knowing that I owed them one. This is the best nail salon experience I've had in a long time- very clean, friendly staff, no waiting (after making an appointment) and absolutely excellent service. Wendy did an incredible job on my long neglected hands and feet (for real, they were bad). She was very patient with my twitching and my hideous callouses, then treated me to an anxiety melting neck and shoulder massage while my nails dried. And all of this for a very reasonable price.

I arrived at 10:55 for an 11:00 am appt and was seated with my feet in the soaking tub and then WAITED a 1/2 hr for a tech to start my pedi. (Water was already cold). After the very nice job on the pedicure I was escorted to another station where I was expected to wait for another tech to do my gel nails, after 20 min. I left. Quality of pedicure was WONDERFUL however the service overall was terrible. They barely understand you when you speak to them and they overbook theirappointments. I was also disappointed in the fact that the pedicure chairs are not massaging seats

The owners of Luxe Nails stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the ball park! I had an appointment and when I arrived they told me there had been a water main break out side of thier establishment and they had to close down till it was fixed. Jay the owner kept in touch with me via text all throughout the day and the following morning! I was able to have my pedicure and manicure the next morning!! Having personally been a retail manager for major NY companies - I was very impressed with Jay and his staff ! Keep up the great customer service!

The experience at this salon was next level! The salon is very clean and beautiful. The staff are kind, attentive, and skilled technicians that made me feel like a VIP customer. I also received the best pedicure ever. The price was extremely reasonable plus they were offering a discount prior to Christmas. We will be coming back and definitely highly recommend!
