I'm super excited about the ceiling we are working on, first time using the trim Tex crown molding which is cheaper than standard wood, especially right now, and lighter. Goes up super easy and with some led lights is gonna look great. I think the plastic will bounce the light off nicely. I'll add more pictures as we go.

Composite decking is all the rage and for good reason too! People are choosing to splurge on composite for the convenience it offers. Azek boards come with a 50 year warranty! You can really let your imagination run wild with the advances in composite these days.

But let's mention the draw backs too, you spend about triple the amount for material but the labor is about the same so if u can find the budget verses wood it will pay for itself in about 3 years.Second the new lines in composite have addressed the heat issue. If u stay with the lighter colors they are no different than wood, and the new compositions being made are not as dense so they don't trap the heat like the older versions.
