We provide attendees valuable knowledge and skills in getting started the right way, which will increase your chances of getting signed with a reputable talent agency, and booking more gigs as a model!
Comp cards and portfolio books are very important tools that a model and/or actor must use to market themselves to agencies and casting agents. This includes a professional quality headshot and various full shot photos. Information such as your physical stats, and ways to contact you should be included.
UMMI is seeking top quality talent to sign with our agency and be submitted for numerous print ads, commercial, tv and film projects. Male models need to be 5'11 or taller for high fashion; Any height for commercial/print work. Female models need to be 5'8" to 5'11" for high fashion; Any height for commercial/print work.

I contacted someone named Rose Battle about one of her talents who self-submitted for an upcoming project and she replied back by saying "We would not be interested at this time." which was odd because if this talent was not interested then why did this talent submit in the first place? Odd right?!

I became part of the UMMI family several years ago and will continue to be part of the group as long as they will have me! Rose, the queen, is easy to get in contact with and is always responsive and willing to listen and guide. This takes trained patience and time management because you can hear in her voice she is busy yet she always lets you bend her ear.
