The wood we use in our sash is with CVG Alaskan Yellow Cedar which is highly resistant to decay. Alaskan Yellow Cedar logs that are known to have lain in the forest for decades and found to be sound. Even immersion in salt water does not harm the wood. This wood can also be used for boat decking and railings.

I've bought glass table protectors from them twice. They advised me well about what specifications to order, and their prices seemed very reasonable, so I'd gladly order from them again. If you're going to pick up directly from them though, be sure to call ahead or there may be nobody home when you arrive.
