24 hours prior to your appointment, DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL or CAFFEINE. 72 hours prior to your appointment, DO NOT TAKE ADVIL or other blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Niacin or Vitamin E unless medically necessary. Botox should be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the procedure. Avoid booking during your menstrual cycle as it can increase your pain.

So NOT "worth it"!!!! Beware! Melissa just wants your money. She is great at microblading but not at teaching. She was late to every class, didn't follow the course outline at all, didn't teach us over half of the advertised material (and even changed the course to less material AFTER the class I was in), gave us a kit that had nothing of value in it (1 ink, 2 blades, 1 pair of gloves, and a few other things that woulda cost me under $15 at CVS), our binder was missing a bunch of pages that she sorta just threw at us on the last day, and she was 2 hours late on our final day

Melissa, the instructor, is a great microblading technician, cheerful and amusing to have around, however, in the case of our class - not a great instructor, to say the least. Lots' of 'big' talk, promises, rushed over theory and minimum MINIMUM hands on. Late every day, and by a whopping 2 hours on the final day. All of us from our class (including a couple of girls from previous classes, which joined US), left highly disappointed, demanding our money back and having to take this matter to court. Definitely ALL Worth it!!! Worth it Academy was very informative & professional! Melissa the teacher goes step by step and is super helpful with the whole process. After getting my eyebrows micro bladed by someone else I was so upset. I was not happy at all. It was depressing honestly. But I heard Melissa was really good and that she could fix them. Going to Melissa was the best decision I could have made. My eyebrows look natural and perfect! Also, Melissa's personality is another huge plus! She's funny, warm, and genuine. Such an great experience getting bladed by the slayer herself! She was so sweet and gentle yet confident and firm when I needed to stop wiggling. She was patient when deciding the final shape and never put any pressure on me to pursue her idea of a perfect shape. She kept reiterating all that matters is for me to be happy.
