I offer cosmetic tattooing: (permanent make-up, microblading, lash enhancement eyeliner, powder/ ombre brow), full face and body waxing, and lash lifts. We are licensed by the Health Department and Department of Cosmetology. The Wax Studio and Darling Brows Studio follow all health standards for the State of California.
To achieve the best wax results I use a combination of an organic aloe strip wax and hard wax. Hair has to be at least a quarter inch long. Generally, 2 weeks of growth from shaving and 3 to 5 weeks after waxing. A lash lift is a great alternative to eyelash extensions or for clients with sensitivities.

This creates the most natural looking, realistic hair strokes. This technique gives crisp, fine hair strokes that fill in thin brows, brows with bald spots, total brow reconstruction and even alopecia. I customize each clients eyebrows using a combination of measuring methods known as " brow mapping" to ensure symmetry and there natural hair pattern.

After going to random nail salons to get my brows done, I finally found a gem to continuously go to for my brow waxing needs! Heard about Connie through a friend and she did not disappoint. I was in town for a brief visit and Connie was able to see me on short notice. We chatting during the wax, and before I knew it she was DONE! And everything looked perfect. She did not need to tweeze, fiddle around, do extra strips, etc. I love a super fast, efficient and painless wax. Not to mention she is a sweetheart to talk to and projects the kind of warmth you just want to be around more often. 5 stars!

She did the most thorough job I've ever had. The studio is super cozy, cute, and most importantly above all CLEAN. If I could give 10 stars I would! Connie is the absolute best. I'm a woman of color and it's difficult to find someone that can get the job done baby butt smooth and quickly! Connie is hilarious (which distracts from the pain) and super sweet. I've been coming to her for YEARS but I'm writing today because I'm 9 months pregnant, came in for a 10:30 Brazilian appointment and Connie had me done, to perfection, by 10:48! Her expertise is surpassed by none and I will be a lifetime client. She's a gem you won't be disappointed!

What can't I say about Connie? She has been my homegirl waxer of choice for at least 5 years. A friend recommend her services when she was with a big salon, and I followed her when she went independent. If I could clone Connie and bring her everywhere I move - then that would be an ideal world. I've even flown back to LA just to get waxed by her.

Starting going to The Wax Studio in May when I moved back to LA for my brazilians. Waxes are never fun but Connie had excellent yelp reviews.
