I am a Fitness Expert and Health Coach who is passionate about helping women develop a healthy relationship with diet and exercise while building a strong core foundation so that they feel stronger, lighter, and empowered in their bodies.

My goal is to provide the support and step-by-step guidance for you to discover your physical capabilities without intimidation, eat for energy and ease without restriction, and to provide a "plan of action" that will ultimately help transform your body and overall wellness!I'm thrilled to have you join this wonderful wellness/travel community, and can't wait to get to know you!
Services
This is my go to for home workouts! It allows me to emulate movement sequences that I can only otherwise do on the reformer and it works my core to the max. See a couple videos where I'm using it here. It is also meant for Myofacial release which allows for maximal recover and injury prevention. I'm in love with these wide elastic stretch bands!
For as long as I can remember I've had a bit of the travel bug. Through my passion project Recharge Escapes, I help you escape the rat race to getaway locations filled with fitness, creativity, culture, and play. Sonja is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and encouraging. She has taught me so much about my body. I have learned how to resolve the lower back pain and pelvic muscle weakness that I have experienced since having children. Even though I have worked out my whole life, I now understand how to use my breath and core muscles to improve my posture, stress, and exercise.

After coming off a knee injury from surfing I happened upon Sonja’s foundation to fit class. Not only is my knee recovery going really well I’ve noticed my surfing has improved and my core strength is the best it’s been in a long while.

Sonja is a wonderful, attentive, patient, kind and knowledgeable instructor. I've gained a lot of strength since taking her Foundations to Fit classes. I really appreciate the time she takes to provide corrections because it has helped me with a previous injury. I definitely recommend Sonja Lyth Fitness.

I first started working out with Sonja more than six years ago. She is an incredible fitness instructor and nutritionist, whether she's creating a custom workout for a one-on-one session, recommending the best course of action with nutrition, or hosting an in-person or virtual small group session. Even though we're no longer in the same city, I've really enjoyed working out with her virtually most recently. She offers great classes that are challenging and adaptable in this setting. She is also an incredibly warm and kind person.

If anyone is considering a personal trainer, especially brides-to-be, HIRE SONJA! It's hard for me to explain just how great of a person and trainer she is, but I'll try.

Sonja is a very talented and smart fitness coach. She's supportive, challenges you and helps you work through your fitness and nutrition goals. I started working out with her six months before my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I made last year. I continue to work out with her a few times a week and look forward to our sessions. Sonja is simply amazing! I have been lucky to work out with her on a regular basis the past several years. She has convinced me to go outside from comfort zone with fitness on a number of occasions and I am the better for it. I never thought I would like Pilates let alone love it but Sonja convinced me to give it a try and I have grown to not only love it but also crave it. I have been working out with Sonja for more than 2 years, and in that time my strength and fitness have improved markedly. She is a highly effective motivator, a very friendly person, and easy to talk to. She has expertly guided me through a variety of minor leg and back injuries I have sustained outside the gym, and given me valuable advice about health and nutrition.
