This dance studio was amazing! We took dance classes for our first dance at our wedding and we really had a blast. Our teacher was Eugene, but sadly, he left the company to go back to school in California. Although we were a little upset, due to the change in teacher and we had already began feeling very comfortable with Eugene, Safwat (the owner) stepped in and began teaching us. He is equally as great of a teacher and it was really interesting and helpful to get a new set of eyes on our routine and encourage us to learn new moves/dance styles. Jackie makes this studio so much fun! She is a great dancer and instructor but also keeps everybody moving forward in their dancing! I am so glad I chose Arthur Murray in Merrick because the owner has several studios that we can go to for parties and exchange lessons. It's like being part of a big Italian family! LOL

The Arthur Murray system of step by step instructions makes it easy to learn ten popular ballroom dances and even some of the other less common ones. I have been with Arthur Murray Dance Studio for almost 2 years. My husband and I are enjoying the time we have learning to dance. We take private lessons, participate in the group classes offered and practice parties. Taking dance lessons has been very exciting, fun and challenging. I cannot leave out the great work out you get.

My fiancée and I took dance lessons at Arthur Murray in preparation of our first dance for our wedding, 8/27/16. My fiancée doesn't love dancing and so we never danced together. We visited the Merrick location for a consultation and we signed up for 10 dance lessons, which allowed for weekly sessions leading up to our wedding day. Eugene, our dance instructor, is amazing! He worked closely with us, individually and as a couple, to improve our technique and style. He provided basic instructions to help us better understand the steps and moves. Eugene was truly a joy! My husband and I have been taking lessons there for six months now. We absolutely love it !!! Eugene is our main instructor. Sometimes Jaqui works with my husband while Eugene works with me. They are both excellent teachers, dancers and most of all, they are wonderful!! The energy in the studio is kind, positive and fun. We learn quickly. We enjoy the private lessons, the group lessons and the parties.
We just participated in our first showcase this past weekend at the Long Island Marriott. We had a blast!! My husband was very reluctant to learn ballroom dancing, let alone dance in a showcase

Great dance school. The instructor listened to our needs, and the dances WE wanted to learn/brush-up on. There were private lessons and group classes. It was so much fun that the lesson seemed to be over too soon. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn, or brush-up their steps for a special upcoming event!!
