Founding members were instrumental in the successful completion of a trio of solar farms for a combined total of 45 MWs in Avenal, California. Financed and constructed simultaneously, the Sun City, Sand Drag and Avenal Park solar projects are believed to be some of the largest photovoltaic (PV) solar farms in operation at the time.
Solar Horizon provides strategic project management, siting, environmental permitting and interconnection support. The firm's experience encompasses more than 25 years of energy infrastructure development including the successful completion of utility scale solar, wind, geothermal, oil and natural gas electric generation facilities and electric transmission line infrastructure projects.
