At Wetherington Chiropractic Clinic we have effectively used this technique on our patients since 2002. It delivers amazing results when it comes to pain relief! The atlas vertebra, the top cervical bone in the neck (C-1) is the one bone that can really affect the alignment of the entire spine. When the atlas is misaligned, it causes the head to tilt and the spine then shifts to support the weight of the head.
When deemed appropriate and/or necessary for your circumstances, x-rays can play a vital role in your chiropractic care. A digital x-ray allows us to look at your bones and joints with a large degree of clarity, and the related soft tissues to some degree. In the case where it's determined that your atlas is likely misaligned then the first step of the x-ray diagnosis is to determine the degree in which the atlas is misaligned.
The activator method chiropractic technique is a treatment that uses a device as an alternative to manual manipulation of the spine. I have a silly toe that gets dislocated at least once a year, I’ve tried several chiropractic locations but once I met this absolutely amazing doctor I am not going anywhere else.
Didn’t took him more than 30 seconds to get me back to my feet walking out of the office without pain.

I was on my lunch hour tried to push me into taking an adjustment. I waited and waited because he told me 10 mins. I left because I had to get back to work. I didn't like the setup because I felt like I was stuck in assembly line with the backup of patients in there plus they are doing electrodes on people in a room with other patients waiting… to be seen. Not a separate room! I was laying face down on a table while people are lined up against the wall where they can watch me. No privacy.
