Endodontic therapy is the treatment for an infected tooth, and is commonly known as a root canal. During the therapy, the infected pulp at the base of the tooth is replaced with inert material and sealed. The objective is to prevent the bacteria from spreading through the root canal, and to preserve the tooth.

I am generally very scared and anxious about going to the dentist, and my last visit was 5+ years ago. But this office was a great experience for me. They talked me through everything that was going to happen so there were no surprises. They made a note in my file that I was nervous beforehand, and seemed to really take that to heart and were very kind and gentle. Very positive, helpful, and encouraging.
