Monica is efficient and thorough, and had good customer service skills. Front desk experience was also quick and easy, even though one person was training another. I've already booked my follow up appointment!

My amazing brow expert called it quits during covid and it has been quite the process of trying to find a replacement. Urban Wax has been one of the better ones I've tried. Have been to both the SE and NW locales and have liked estheticians at both. They, thankfully, understand that pencil thin brows are a no go and I find their wax gentle and non irritating. I wouldn't, however, recommend the brow tint. Its an unnecessary addition, as the tint is very transient and not worth the price. I have found an amazing brow pomade that seems to do the trick. Tried to come in for my first appointment after work today. Traffic leaving work was terrible so I called to say I expected to be about five minutes late. I couldn't get parking close, but was literally walking on 18th and approaching Marshall when they called me, exactly ten minutes after my appointment, to cancel. Such a tight window around rush hour was rough. I understand keeping a tight schedule but even when I said I was just outside they wouldn't budge and refused to see me.
I wish I had more control over traffic!

Just as good as the NW location but it was nice having a parking lot. I also liked the can lights in the treatment room instead of fluorescent lights. Always like the wax here as it doesn't leave residue and I generally have no ingrown hairs

They did have issues with their online booking but it was easy to call and get the slot I saw online.

Everyone that works there is super kind, and the environment is super welcoming + they have free food/drinks/mimosas while you wait! Brazilians are well priced for the area and service is professional and efficient. Sydney was great!

Esther was seriously such a delight. I am so grateful to have found a waxer that has compassion for her clients and great conversation to keep my mind busy while being waxed. My Brazilian wax was very painless compared to any other wax I've received. If you are new to Brazilians Esther is great, but I'm sure the rest of their staff is just as incredible.

Kira & the team were exceptional! Friendly & very skilled at what they do. Relaxing environment. I also love the snack bar.... fun touch to creating a relaxed setting.

Everything about Urban Waxx is amazing! When I called to make my appointment, Gabby was so helpful, getting me in ASAP with my little availability. When I checked in for my appt, I was offered a drink while I checked out their product wall- which is gorgeous! Mallory waxed my brows and did such a great job. The lady was so nice! It was my first time getting a Brazilian and they were all booked for sugaring so I did waxing instead. I was really scared because I read online that getting a wax Brazilian for the first time hurts very bad but it really was not that bad for me. I take my brows seriously. I went to my last person for 5 years every 5 weeks. I came here and tried a few people before landing on Esther. They are amazing and now the only person I will trust with my waxing and brows. Some people just immediately get/understand what you're wanting and then execute it well, and they are that person! Such a relief to find someone I can trust to wax my face. Esther is also wonderful to talk to through the process and gives great recommendations to other things in the area.

Keelin Clancy is beyond AMAZING. Her friendly personality and her professionalism is appreciated. Attention to detail is key for me. I've been getting my eyebrows done from her over the last 4 months and they look better then my microbladding sessions I've had in the past. I walked here in the snow to my 3:15 appointment. I was outside the salon at 3:18 , I was late 3 MINUTES and was told my appointment was canceled because I was 3 minutes late. I've never had this happen in my entire life. Unbelievable.

I really wanted to give this place a 5 star review. The service was amazing. The person that gave me my service was awesome. My brow lift was OUTSTANDING. However the wax gave me my very first folliculitis. I've waxed 100s of times over the past 25 years - at 5-star places down to beauty schools and even doing it myself.

I read previous reviews about other people experiencing folliculitis but I ignored it because I thought it was a fluke. I had planned to go back for another wax but I can't help but wonder about the wax they use and if it has issues.

Kim at Urban Waxx Division is a dream. She always leaves me feeling cared for and supported in my waxing decisions. She is coordinated and precise in technique and never leaves me in vulnerable positions too long. She is the funniest and most comfortable person. I would recommend her to anyone. Urban waxx staff is super friendly. The building is always spotless. They are checking everyone's temp upon arrival and only letting in clients at appointment time. The covid precautions they are taking are super comforting.

This was my first time at this location.Staff was very nice, but I felt dismissed when I pointed out my skin not looking right. I was informed the look of razer burn would go away with in a few hours...its been over 5 hours it looks ten times worse and hurts. I also had wax still on my butt after that stuck to my pants. I have gone to other urban waxxs and never had a result this bad, even on the first time I got waxed. If I wanted what feels like razer burn I would have just shaved.

I've been getting my brows waxed for the better part of 10 years at different salons, but I didn't know what a great shape my eyebrows could achieve until I started getting waxed by Wren. I go in with "fuzzy caterpillars" for eyebrows and leave with confidence. She's the best!

What an amazing experience! I made an appointment the night before for first available and I ended up with Kim, and wow! Usually after my waxes there are a few stray hairs but she got every single one of them.

Everyone was wearing masks, they took your temp upon arrival and Kim had on two masks to protect you and herself!

I see Mallory for all my waxing needs! When she's waxing my downstairs she's efficient, detailed, gets the job done quickly, and the pain is minimal. She's such a pro and I highly recommend seeing Mallory. As for the Urban Waxx salon/store itself: It's well lit and clean. They are taking all the necessary covid precautions to keep their employees and customers safe.

Jevon has been doing my brows and occasional Brazilian for more than three years now and I cannot rave about her enough. She has great podcast recommendations, remembers that I am sensitive to products after waxing, and always nails the wax. Wow! I am thoroughly impressed by my whole experience here. First of all, they offered me a free mimosa and snacks so my mood was already significantly boosted before going in. My esthetician Ally was so nice and fun to talk to- we chatted about brunch spots and work for so long I barely even remembered she was waxing my eyebrows, which by the way, look the best they ever have.

I will most definitely be back here, and I'm not even a frequent waxer. It made me feel like I was taking the day to treat myself, not to simply get my eyebrows waxed. Thank you urban Waxx! :)

Wow, I thought I already had a five star experience and then I met Susan. Susan has changed my eyebrow game. I was hesitant about seeing someone new since my girl was not there the day I needed to go, but ummm hi Susan. Susan got every.single.hair. Normally I find myself tweezing my brows after my wax finding a hair or so that got missed which, didn't thrill me but like it's pretty normally I have lots of white and blonde eyebrow hairs, not this time.
