Carl J. Taylor & Co. is a management consulting firm specializing in executive search. Our practice develops and maintains close working relationships with a limited number of organizations. Given that most hiring decisions depend on an individual's "fit" within an organization, we strive to know the personality of the employer.
The position required by each client is a unique assignment. We do not treat assignments the same because we have had a similar engagement. Furthermore, we do not presume to know the "right person" before we thoroughly understand the client's specific requirements. Quality control of each engagement is of paramount importance to the client, the candidates, and anyone else involved in the search.
In the current challenging recruitment environment, it is more important than ever to develop a clear description of the person you are seeking. This description will include the quantitative requirements (years of experience, technical knowledge, industry capability, etc.) and the qualitative requirements (management style, people interaction, communication ability, etc.) which will enable the candidate to be successful in the role.
