While this is possible, more often than not, we can make precisely what you dream of and stay within your budget. We can also provide services such as sizing rings, lending samples, and temporarily setting your stone in simple mountings to ensure your design goals are met.
A jewelry appraisal is the legal contract required to enact an insurance policy for your piece. The final document will include an overall value for replacement of the piece in its entirety. A detailed appraisal document describing your jewelry and its value assure you of what to expect from your provider in case of loss.
Sometimes life gets the better of us and our jewelry pays the price. Prongs break off, rings are too big or too small- -a stone's setting grows outdated. I just picked up my wedding ring and left there with happy tears. Lydia and the entire staff are so warm, welcoming, and made every step of the way special. We used two generations of family jewelry to make my ring and they handled everything with care. If you are looking to have a special ring made please consider these folks! I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m so blown away with my experience with them!

I brought my broken watch into the store on Friday. The person who helped me was very professional and nice. She informed me that they were two weeks out and there was a minimum $25 charge. I thought the cost was excessive, but I left the watch anyway. The watch was ready the next day.
To be totally clear, I was informed of the cost ahead of time and I agreed to it. $25 is a lot to pay for a job that probably took about 2 minutes and a part that probably costs less than a dollar. Other tan costs, the service was great.

I was blown away by the beautiful repair made to my broken ring!! Absolutely seemless and precise work! I really appreciated all of the kindness and openness of the staff as well. I did not get to look around like I wanted to, but the jewelry selection that I did see was gorgeous and unique! I am thoroughly impressed and completely satisfied with my experience! I will definitely go back!!

I highly recommend Apland Jewelers for any jewelry repairs you might need. I had to have a clasp replaced on a heavy gold chain that has great sentimental value to me. It was ready right on time and now I can feel confident that I can count on my new clasp to keep my chain safe every day! Friendly service also-thank you!!!

I have had two rings 'redesigned' by Apland Jewelers and I absolutely LOVE both of them! When I had come in originally, I had an 'idea' of what I wanted to do with my wedding ring, as we were celebrating our 40th anniversary.I also told Lydia that I was open to other ideas. She smiled and presented me with an alternative idea that, in the long run, was a MUCH better option! ... They were able to make me a whole new ring and delivered it before the deadline I had given them. The other ring was a redesign of the original ring to make it workable too. Lydia, Ken, and Jaime were amazing in helping me find an engagement ring. I went to a number of places in Portland and never got the welcoming, low-pressure atmosphere the Apland provided. They listened to what I was looking for and never pressured me into anything else. In addition, their prices were much better than the other places I went to. They were so friendly and welcoming and I couldn't imagine working with anyone else to find and buy and engagement ring! Highly recommend!

My wife's watch battery needed replacement. I have not found many places that can do it, due to the unusual nature of the back of the watch.
Apland Jewelers staff helped me immediately. The staff member used a specifically designed holder that safely held the watch and protected it from scratching. She completed the replacement in a few minutes and the cost was less than $5.00.
I will be going back to Apland Jewelers.
