Florida Express is certainly NOT environmentally responsible. They have stopped taking plastic for the recycling program. (no money in it I would guess)
They stopped taking glass over a year ago. (too expensive to recycle, again about the $$)
So currently they recycle paper, aluminum and metal. The majority of recycling is plastics and glass. These two items now go into the landfill.
FYI, On Top of The World still allows residents to recycle glass and plastic. Not so for Stone Creek!!

I have been using this company for over 2 years and had never had a problem until yesterday. There was a new driver and he apparently forgot my house for pick up. I had some "smelly" garbage and was in need for it to be disposed of. I called the office and the following day, today, Vivian from the Office called me. She was very concerned over the problem and handled it in a very Professional manner. She is a shining example of how employees should represent their company. I appreciated what she did for me and will recommend this company in the future. Thanks Vivian!

After posting my "Earlier Review:" below, Florida Express contacted me and apologized for the lack of quality service regarding my paid account. In addition, they credited my account for 1 month and stated they would update the drivers regarding picking up my trash. Without a doubt Florida Express is the best for garbage pick-up in the local area. We've never been missed and they run a very regular schedule. I've tried the others or refused to based on ridiculous pricing and am glad FEE is here. I'd give them a 5 but sometimes the guys get a little sloppy by just tossing the can(s) instead of setting them up where they picked them up from but minor detail.

Florida Express has been a great garbage pickup service. The office staff was very helpful in getting an old grill and junk carted away for me. I really had forgotten that could be handled with advance notification. The garbage pickup crew has been respectful of our garbage container and pretty much leaves it standing and closed. Thank you for great service.

They provide Holiday Pick Up schedules in advance.
Billing / Payment is so easy.
They always leave my garbage can right where I left it.
They take pride on not leaving a mess and you don’t see a trail of trash like you do with the other guys.
Nothing but praise for this group. Beats having to take your stuff to the smelly landfill.

After Advanced Disposal was bought out by Waste Management, they eliminated service to our semi-rural route. Fortunately, Florida Express Environmental picked up the slack, providing reliable service for a lower price. Glad to support a local company that does great work.

We pay for 3 months of service at a time, and least once a month they miss picking up our trash. And recently our bill jumped up by $15, and yet the service has gotten worse! I call the office and complain. They see my bill is paid I'm full, and have no explanation for why my trash was not picked up. I usually have to wait until the next week to get it picked up. We only have one trash can and live in an area that has wild animals so I can't leave bags of trash out by the curb that aren't in a can. One can is good for a week, but 2 weeks worth of trash won't fit in the one can, so this is a huge
