Shaw Woodworking is a family owned and operated business established in Santa Cruz in 1995. Owner and operator Chris Shaw started this business because of his love for woodworking. Chris Shaw started Shaw Woodworking in 1995, when he bought a small wood shop in Soquel, and started building small kitchens, bathroom vanities, and custom furniture.

After more then 20 years of experience, a long history of satisfied and repeat customers, he has grown his business into what it is today. He now has his dream shop in Watsonville and is now doing much larger scale jobs, as well as private homes. At Shaw Woodworking we take pride in our work and want to make sure every customer is happy.

My family's history with Shaw Woodworking dates back to 2002. Chris & team helped my wife & I conceptualize a complete cabinetry remodel of our kitchen space & then, from-scratch, designed, constructed, & installed living room window-sill built-ins, as well as a matching wall of built-ins that house all of our AV equipment + related media. All of this was done superbly -- at cost quoted, within timeframe needed, and -- most importantly -- with a meticulous eye for aesthetics & functionality sought.

In fact, the Shaw Woodworking result was so impressive that here we are

We had Shaw Woodworking build and install a brand new kitchen and all 3 bathrooms in our house in the Santa Cruz area and it was GREAT. The cabinets are beautiful, Shaw listened to what we were looking for, made helpful suggestions, delivered on the date promised and were totally professional.

I have recommended him to a friend doing an addition and she was also very pleased with the communication, craftsmanship and service.

These people are total flakes and they delayed my kitchen remodel for a month. I expect now, we will not be done before Thanksgiving. Run. Avoid. Hide--that is unless you like the idea using the BBQ and camp stove in the fog and rain while they fail to return phones.
