Wayland Creative Preschool teachers are highly qualified, experienced educators who are exceptional in their love of children and dedication to each child's growth. We maintain a very low teacher to child ratio of 1 teacher to 4 or 5 children in the younger groups, and 1 teacher to 7 or 8 children in the older groups.
All staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid and meet or exceed all training guidelines set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. The vast majority of our teachers hold bachelor or graduate degrees, more than half in child development or early childhood education.

Report
Across all of our classes, we provide a developmentally appropriate program with a combination of structured time and free choice/play time. We emphasize music and the creative arts as well as science activities, story time, block play, sand and water exploration, puzzles, and much more.
Age appropriate activities include a wide range of art experiences, dramatic and imaginary play, playing instruments and singing in large and small groups, creative movement (which includes mime and yoga activities), building with materials like LEGOs, and engaging in one on one focused work with teachers.
