Our focus in this area began in 2003, when the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) was created and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) increased in scope to protect national security and support foreign policy goals.
TradeLink Systems is a certified partner in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism. C-TPAT is a government-business program designed to strengthen the international supply chain and U.S. border security. It's a voluntary initiative in which U.S. importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers and other supply chain business partners document and verify the integrity of their security practices.
