I ordered my prescription glasses online at Vint and York, I have an ultra high prescription (-14.75). I followed their guide for high prescription glasses, I am blown away at the precision, thinness and quality of these glasses. I were contact most of the time and absolutely have hated the "four eyed'" look of glasses only have worn them in extreme emergencies. I will wear these just for fun. As a woman with a wide face, I cannot express how difficult it is to find fashionable, feminine glasses. In fact, I would say it is downright impossible. While I understand most women have smaller faces, the reality is there are many of us who do not. Just like our bodies, women's faces come in different sizes as well. Unfortunately, eyeglass manufacturers simply do not make frames for women in larger sizes (and I mean lens sizes 56 and up). Typically, I have to buy unisex frames, which are always boxy with no unique shapes, colors, or personality -- really, unisex frames are just another type

Such a lovely store! I am absolutely obsessed with my Vint & York glasses. I used to never like wearing glasses and now I hate taking them off! The team was so helpful with getting me the perfect pair and did an incredible job cutting the lenses for my difficult prescription. Tim went beyond the call of duty to give me a peace of mind regarding my pre-order purchase. After receiving my frame, the package presentation alone was very impressive.
I took the frames to my optometrist to add my prescription lens, and the optometrist and staff member was also impressed with the quality of the frame whereas I provided them with Vint and York contact information.

These are cute! I got two pairs because they were so affordable. I was able to try most of them on with their camera on my web browser to see what I wanted. It's difficult to find larger/wider sizes in vintage styles, but they had many options! Very excited to have these. They seem sturdy too, which is good for me, and they got here fast and clean from NY to the Midwest. Thank you Vint&York!🙏🏻

I can't figure out why or how this place has any one star reviews. I have both ordered from them online and picked up glasses in store and had nothing short of FANTASTIC experiences. I got vision correction surgery and therefore have 20/20 vision, but I get DEBILITATING migraines from bluelight now (which I lowkey think is a side effect of the PRK surgery but that hasn't been proven and I digress). I have tried Warby Parker, EyeBuyDirect, and countless other brands desperately seeking relief and NONE have worked. Then I found Vint & York

I ordered two pairs of prescription glasses. One pair was the incorrect color. I emailed Vint and York Support with attached photos. I made sure to take two pictures of the distinctive number engraved on the inside of the left arm, which aside from the pictures, is indicative of the color. The response I received from Support was dismissive. I was told that I received the correct pair regardless of the pictures I sent. I sent two more pictures along with a second email stating that the glasses were not the correct color I ordered. I ultimately had to call and speak to a representative. The representative

I have gotten two pairs of glasses here. They have been so nice and the glasses are always ready when they say they will be. I love shopping in small stores vs the larger corporations. The staff are always welcoming and not pushy. Glasses are the first thing people notice and I can trust their judgment to help me make such a personal decision.

Interesting to see a pattern of bad customer service throughout the reviews. Came in here on Presidents' Day and the guy working the shop was BEYOND cold and unwelcoming. A coworker had recommended their frames so I wanted to come in person and try some, but this dude's attitude was so off putting, I literally must have spent around 30 seconds in the store before leaving. He did let out a condescending "bye" as I walked out. Like others have said, stick to Warby..or Dita/Oliver's if you have the cash. He made my skin crawl in the short time I was there. I happily stumbled across Vint & York's Instagram account around November 2019. After spending hours on both their Instagram account and their designated website I was thrilled to find a location in the heart of Nolita (that's NYC; Incase you're not familiar). Oh my goodness!!!!! This was my first experience ordering glasses on line & it was flawless! Veronica was super helpful!! She deserve special recognition or a raise or both!! Additionally he helped me with the the base curve that was giving me issues with one of the pairs. I think he went above and beyond when he crafted my lenses keeping in mind the issues I have with my eyelashes brushing the lenses due to the small bridge and high prescription combination I deal with.
The digital lenses are definitely the way to go. The world literally looks like and HD TV through them. Definitely
