Petite Optique has been recognized by several eyewear and fashion magazines as having the most comprehensive collection of European eyewear in NYC. For over twenty years our family owned and operated business has been providing a European eyewear selection that as much fashion as it is exclusive. For over 20 years, we have provided a hand-picked selection of elegant frames for our clients from that come to our stores from all around the world.
Barton Perreira offers an exclusive line of eyewear for men and women. The company was founded in 2007 by Mr. Bill Barton and Ms. Patty Perreira. It was launched in Los Angeles, and the company headquarters are based in the city. The line of sunglasses and accessories are sold both in-store and online at several of the finest retailers.
When looking for eyeglasses, we all have a style in mind. It's the pair that transforms your face giving it a certain glow and energy. While that date does not exist, the Italian company by the same name most certainly does! These founders achieved success by focusing on products that are adaptable to the needs of customers and which are produced by means of efficient, innovative manufacturing. The environment is a key factor kept at the center of these glasses' production process as is the ability to make eyewear for customers that is completely tailored to their needs.

I’ve been coming to Petite Optique for about 6 years, they continuously have the widest selection of exclusive frames you can’t get anywhere in the US. Their customer service is great too, very personable and honest.
I’ve moved a bit ago, but still come into town to grab some new shades.
In summation… I could not recommend Petite Optique more.

Walked into this cute boutique in Union Square thinking that I would find the normal Ray Ban or similar but instead stepped into a world of Francis Klein, Jacques Marie Mage, Kuboraum, Theo and soooooo much more. I’m shocked that this was right by me and I didn’t know it. Oh, and the service is amazing too!

I had a fantastic experience at Petite Optique! I was in the neighborhood, and despite not having an appointment the team graciously worked me into their schedule. They offered honest opinions about the various frames I tried on and helped me select one that was unique and felt right for me. The turnaround on the lenses was fantastic and I had my new glasses within days. There’s a reason they have been in business for 26 years. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for good eyeglasses experience, do come here. I have been to almost every single eye place around Union Square throughout the years and I have been looking for a place that have a good selection of eye glasses and treat me as a paying customer, not someone infringing on their time.
I was able to get a nice French eyeglasses and use my VSP insurance.

I just can’t thank Petite Optique for their superb customer service. I was so taken from the first time I came to the store in 2008 and still love them and their service. They have such an eye for taste and go out of their way to make sure that the customer is happy. They are well educated in their field and the merchandise they sell. The optometrist is on point with her prescriptions and consultations. And as far as the owners of the store, I can’t speak highly enough about them. This is a family oriented business and from the Mother, Father, son and daughter

I wish I could give this boutique more stars! First time here as I am a lifetime Moscot gal but I wanted something unique and oh boy did I ever find it. First this store is the cutest lil place ever . Love it! The selections they offer for frames are unequivocally extraordinary! I visited a variety of other stores , including my beloved Moscot and honestly no one had the selection this store had. Noone! Also impressive was the customer service which for me is a deal breaker. The entire staff is not only Fabulous:) but extremely knowledgeable in suggesting and picking out what looks good on you

I've had this place on my list to visit for a very long time. I love wearing glasses and own a couple of pairs and I'm always looking for new places with amazing style and great selection of hard to find brands. As soon as I walked in one of the owners picked out a pair of frames for me that was absolutely perfect. I very rarely let someone else pick out my glasses and he did a fantastic job. I've gotten quite a few compliments on them and I think they're one of the best pairs of glasses I've owned in a long time. They also do the lens work themselves. I highly recommend

The most amazing and unique frames that are covered by VSP! Great selection of truly unique statement frames that are works of art. They source unique designers from France and Italy and have great options if you love color or want something architectural. Their service is also stellar. I got my prescriptions filled super fast and they were really great at helping me pick out a great set!

Francis Klein, Caroline Abram, and Barton Perreira all from the same boutique. Crazy selection, a fantastic collection without being overwhelming, and they have something for everyone's face.
Customer service is spectacular--if something doesn't look good, these guys will politely let you know. When something looks and feels amazing, they keep all of the frame details on file so you can come back, never pressuring to buy.
No matter what I wear from Petite, no matter where I travel, random strangers ask where

These guys have everything you could dream of in a high-end eyeglass frame store: an absolutely stunning collection of frames made and manufactured by independent designers from all over, top-level customer service, and an eye for which frames work with your face and personal style.
I'm an industrial designer, insanely picky about my frames, and was also having a panic attack when I came in as my glasses broke at the beginning of a long business trip in NYC. These guys had me in and out of the shop in 45 minutes, and even managed to have my tricky prescription ready for me shortly thereafter

I am unfortunately graced with a very tough prescription. Throughout my adult life I've had to have countless prescriptions sent back, fine-tuned or returned. As the time approached for my foray into progressive lenses I was prepared for painful process.

I recently purchased my most interesting frames at Petite Optique - I have a small face and strong prescription so it is always tricky to find the perfect frame. I love the frame Ludmilla helped me find and never had such finely crafted lenses before - they are very thin and razor sharp. In addition, the eye exam that I had there was very reasonably priced (although it didn't include the prescription for contacts) and I ended up with a very accurate prescription with changes made to the old one that resulted in a much better vision. I think the more accurate prescription with the great workmanship

First rate customer service!
I left a pair of 5 year old designer glasses that I bought from Petite Optique to have a missing small screw replaced. I was called by a very apologetic Lyudmila a day later who informed me that Igor had accidentally broke my frame. Lyudmila invited me in to select a new pair of my choosing with prescription lenses at no cost whatsoever. She even gave me my original glasses that Igor had painstakingly repaired so I could still wear them as a spare. Petite Optique truly cares about their customers!

I got a pair of very very stylish Theo frames from Petite Optique not too long ago which the very courteous, helpful and friendly staff helped me select.
I was a little apprehensive at first, as I wasn't sure about branching away from the typical frames you get at other stores, but Igor and Luda really worked with me in selecting the perfect unique frames (from the many they have) that compliment my face and personal style. I have to say, it's refreshing to meet professionals who really try to find the right fit for you and what you want. You can't beat the customer service.
