The history of antique tools and hardware tells the story of two conflicting impulses. The first was the urge-or, more likely, the necessity-to handcraft one's home and furnishings. The second was the desire to take advantage of the opportunities available to entrepreneurs in the 19th century, when the Industrial Revolution enabled the mass-production of the antique tools that would give the rest of us the means to do-it-ourselves.
The term sports memorabilia usually refers to a souvenir, memento, keepsake or token of remembrance that is directly connected to a famous athlete, sporting event or personality. These items are generally collected by fans that find sentimental and/ or monetary value of the items. BamaFlea Mall has all of your Alabama & Auburn sports memorabilia in Birmingham, AL!
Watkins Incorporated is a manufacturer of health remedies, baking products, and other household items. The entire catalog includes 400 products. It is based in Winona, Minnesota, and largely relies on an independent sales force of 25,000 people to distribute its products. This sales force sells the products using various methods, including the Internet, person to person, trade shows, party planning, and fund-raising.
In the 1940s and 1950s, jadeite - a stain- and heat-resistant, milky-green glassware - was quite common and sold in hardware stores and five-and-tens. Sometimes a piece of jadeite would be included in a bag of flour or a box of oatmeal as an inducement to the consumer to buy the rest of the set. Today, jadeite is a popular - and valuable - collectible.
The Bama Flea Mall and Antique Center is located just off I-20 exit 144-A east of Birmingham. If you haven't been to then you will be surprised in the variety of used furniture we offer. We rent space to dealers who then fill their booths with things they want to sell. The main thing getting brought in is used furniture from Birmingham Alabama.

Something for everyone! Probably one of, if not THE best antique mall /flea markets I've ever been too. We were driving through Birmingham on our way back to memphis from Atlanta. We literally spent more time there and had more fun than we did at the Georgia aquarium. Make sure you've got a few hours to spend here!

Looked to do business with this facility. Called them late February early March looking for a booth for my wife and I. It was mid deployment so I was excited because the booth would be available just in time for me to be home 2 weeks and start working on our new space. Here we are 23 October and my wife is told oh another 6 months. No call no forewarning nothing. I call ask about it and only to find out these people aren’t even smart enough to have names and dates in a computer system everything is hand written. To make things even spicier the man’s tempo and response was as if he could careless

Updated review!! Apparently I had this place confused with the flea market in Mobile! So, deleted entire review!! Bama is great! All indoor, great prices, unusual finds and very friendly staff! I could have spent hours here! So much to see and buy! I bought 2 1920's era light fixtures for $20 plus tax. 1 was just the main 5 bulb holder part but the other had the chain, canopy, sockets, etc...! Just needs wired. Original painted areas. This is just an example of a great price in my eyes! A complete fixture with wiring in tact can fetch anywhere from $100-$1,000 on eBay and in antique stores. Ya

Sometimes you find some really good stuff in here. Sometimes you just see the same stuff you've been seeing for the past 5 years because they don't change vendors enough. I'm starting to think that some people are just using this place as a storage unit because they set their prices so high on some of their things that it's almost like they really don't want to sell it. We find things we want in here and we think that the price might come down after a while but it never does. Not even after 3 years! I just think they should ask their vendors if they intend on selling their items because otherwise

I found some great gems in this place but I have never experienced worse customer service. There were 16 year-olds working at the register.. she was yelling at 5:30 for us to go ahead and check out because she wanted to leave.. meanwhile, after she checked me out i asked her to bag my items and she threw the bag at me, also threw a $180 dollar ring i was purchasing at me... All 3 were so rude. i spent 300 dollars and was treated horrible. So sad i will not give my hard earned money to such a terribly empolyed business.

This is a cool and old looking environment with a lot of different things and supplies great for decorating anything really. I went there to find decorations for my chicken coop and found many thing I liked and actually bout some of them. Some vendors have reasonably priced items but there where a couple people tryna get rich for the prices they wanted. I recommend going and checking this place out. P.S. they sell snacks and have a restroom.

Ended up finding my way to the Bama Flea market and couldn't be happier. As a fan of all thing eclectic I was able to find a number of great personal and professional items to keep my thrifting hiatus worth the wait. Anyone that walks through these doors will be happy with any number of common, unique and hard to find items in the fast paced world.

We didn't even dig through every booth and still spent over an hour walking around. It's a flea mall so there's a mix of true antique, country charm, toys, glass, clothes, and the newer resale items (laundry detergent, diabetic socks, etc). There was a booth with handmade all wood furniture. I could tell it was new because of the wood smell.
They have carts which was nice since I had my large purse and I'm always worried about breaking tn something. It also has bathrooms.

This place is so great!
We have been coming here for a few years now and honestly within the last year, iv noticed the booths never really change, and they have allowed a ton of booths to carry "New" stuff such as cloths and new furniture, in a 'ANTIQUE' store which i really don't care for. Although i have found some nice things in the last few years, i would appreciate if they would clean it up a little and only allow antiques, and not booths of cloths like i have seen in there numerous times.
The over all cleanliness of the store is pretty average, but the cashiers

Great flea mall. Everything from actual antiques to faux-tiques to end lots. A great way to kill a few hours digging for treasure. It's all consignment booths so there is no dickering, unfortunately. Some booths are very overpriced and some are reasonable. Seems to rotate fairly often. I go there 3-4 times a year and always see different things. I've even made a few purchases over the years.

I love this place, and my kids love it too. You never know what treasure you'll find here. And if you've "gotta have it", get it now because there is a good chance it won't be there later.
I was about to buy a bed at Rooms To Go for my daughter ($700), and a couple of days before I was planning to order it, my mom found the EXACT same bed here for $225! Needless to say I jumped in the car, came right over and bought it! I also bought a couple of refurbished furniture pieces that are just beautiful. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Meh. A few good things but mostly junk. The coolest thing we saw was an antique bed with really nice wood carvings. Of course, this would be great if you had the right kind of home for it. Would be cool in a bed and breakfast or a period piece house.
Some vendors are selling handmade items but there are only a couple of those. Most of the stuff in here seemed to be people looking to sell junk from their house.
This is a flea market where the booths are set up but no one is actually there selling anything. You take your items up to the register for purchase. So don't expect to get the
