We are not a broker and do not sub-contract our long distance moves. The crew that loaded your belongings at origin, most likely will be the same crew to unload at destination.

3-shelf one sided office machine cart is designed to move valuable office equipment safely. 8-shelf library cart is designed to move large quantities of books, legal documents efficiently. There are 32 liner feet of usable space. All purpose high quality carpeted office dolly is designed for fast and efficient operation.
We offer short and long-term storage solutions. Our storage facility is clean, climate controlled, video monitored and fully secured. Our vaults are specially designed to protect your personal belongings until you are ready for a delivery at your new place. Free blanket wrap is offered throughout your storage stay.
Earlier the better. In order to get your preferred move date it's wise to give your moving company 2-3 weeks notice, if possible. Careful Movers is licensed by both Public Utility Commission and CA State Department of Transportation. We carry all proper insurance and always ready to provide it on your behalf.

We ran into an issue with the first moving company we had hired who backed out the night before we were set to move. We were in a huge bind and Careful Movers came through for us helping us to get an amazing crew scheduled last minute to help us. Brian and his team were WONDERFUL. Jose, Jose, and Gilberto did an outstanding job. We unloaded a large Pod container and they had time to help with assembling furniture. They were on time and worked quickly and safely to put everything in our place in 4 hours. They also unloaded our yamaha upright piano and took extra care to wrap and protect the piano for unloading. The company did a great job explaining the services and costs and they contacted me to coordinate the process.

Great moving company. They showed up on time (actually 10 mins early) and they were totally professional. They moved really fast with 3 guys basically taking care of business. Wrapped up my 1 BR apartment and moved it into my house in 5 1/2 hours and did it in the rain, but no complaints at all. They were awesome! I'd hire them again easily!

Worked with Careful Movers starting in 2020 when we had to move my daughter home from college and didn't know how long it would be til she moved back to SF. We arranged storage for her belongings and were given a reasonable rate, less than I expected which is good because we ended up storing her belongings for 18 months (!) We finally moved her belongings back to her new apartment in SF. In both cases movers arrived on time, assembled furniture correctly and were courteous. Careful Movers were essential when I had a big office item to move from my dad's office to my house. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and easily over the phone, and they were prompt and made a lot of effort to not damage my house in any way when moving the item. The specific crew members who helped me were: Jose H, Jose C, and Gilberto.
We had also used them previously when we moved, and they were really efficient and careful - just as their name says!

I've moved myself and family members a total of 10 times in the last 3 years. This time, we moved my mom from a 3 bedroom into a 1 bedroom and we decided to hire. I went to yelp and Careful Movers are exactly like their name. They REALLY ARE CAREFUL MOVERs. They were extremely professional and touched base up to and including day of the move, but estimate they provided was far outside the window of what we were quoted (as in: double). We understand that things go over and stuff happens, but you need to tighten up your quote process TREMENDOUSLY. Plan on paying from the second they call you, morning of, because that is when you will start being billed. I would've given higher stars and chucked it up to a simple misunderstanding, but drink containers were left throughout both our houses, on windowsills and ledges, one of antique pieces were broken

I like having a firm price and a set date for moving. Careful Movers did not deviate from the price we agreed to. With Careful Movers gave me time and date for moving from the get-go. We recently hired Careful Movers for a move from RWC to SF. Since it was during the lockdown, we wanted to make sure that there were the fewest health risks, in addition to paying a good price for the work involved.
Our team of 3 movers were very prompt on arrival. They had masks on the entire time. We packed ahead of time so for the most part we stayed out of their way per their social distancing guidelines.

Great company!! Very friendly and professional. They showed up at the beginning of their window and went to work immediately. They were efficient and I never had to repeat any placement/packing request. All my items arrived safely with no damage, and they took apart and rebuilt several pieces of furniture quickly. They were not the cheapest option I looked at, but I am glad I went with them as they are of higher quality than most services I have used for my past moving experiences. I will definitely use them again!

A crew from Careful Movers performed my most recent move. (10 miles from origination point to destination.) The crew were Jose R. (foreman), Fabian, Emmanuel, and Ricardo.
Kevin estimated my moved, and suggested a four man crew that would take 5 hours to complete the move. He was very thorough about taking inventory, especially as I moved during… COVID-19. For the boxes, he suggested a studio pack, which included boxes, packing paper, and tape.
I was really impressed how carefully they wrapped my furniture, especially as I have a number of antique pieces that can be heavy and cumbersome

From receiving the estimate, to working out the details a few days before the move, and disassembling/reassembling some furniture, the team at Careful Movers was terrific! Would definitely use them again. Our move from Redwood City to Oakland for a 1-BR was about 4.5 hours. It went so smoothly and quickly!

As their name implies, they are very careful movers! We were very impressed with everything about their operation. The estimate they made at the beginning had to be modified because we changed the schedule twice for moving but they stuck to their original estimate. They were very efficient at packing and unpacking our goods in the beginning and the end of the journey, and we liked the crew a lot. They were a very careful group, especially considering COVID-19 concerns. We were very happy with Careful Movers.

Such a fantastic service. In the past, we've had some pretty negative experiences with moves so despite all the positive reviews, we weren't entirely optimistic. We had a great experience with Careful Movers, in particular with our 4-person crew of Alejandro H., Beto, Alex Rico, and Eduardo. Based on the reviews, I was hoping for something good, but I was still surprised by how careful and considerate the entire team was.
