Unfortunately my review is not positive, as I have a long claim process 4 months later and we still dealing with it. We provided evidence and they are not covering the damages (hole on wall, scratches on floor). 14 damaged items. 4 items not assembled properly, the bed felt on my foot. They are not taking responsibility for the damages. Definitely, I will never use them again.

Upline Moving assisted me with a recent move from Castro Valley to San Ramon and I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks.
The move itself went smoothly, the price was good, but I was most impressed with the company's presentation.
Before I could even book my move with them, they made sure to do a survey of my items and provided me with what's called a "not to exceed" amount of hours. They were so detailed that I literally had no questions when the presentation was done.
I'm very thankful for the quality service but even more impressed at the education I got along the way.

We used upline for moving and storage. The disorganization within this company is unparalleled. The shipping and logistics team does not speak with the moving team, there's no way to enter payment information beyond filling out a CC authorization form, and the prices to keep items in storage were high ($300+/month). The only thing keeping this from a 1 star review is the employees doing the actual move who were very professional and timely.

We chose Upline based on their Yelp reviews, and they did not disappoint. They contacted me immediately after I reached out for a quote, followed up on our initial conversation immediately with an email detailing everything we discussed, and included info we hadn't discussed, like prices for bubble wrap, etc.
The morning of our move, the guys texted me when they were on their way. They showed up early and worked non-stop. Nothing was damaged, they took no downtime, and we could not have been more impressed with the amount of work they did, in the time that they did it in.

Upline Moving helped me relocate within the same building, and while it might sound easy, it was a task that only they were meant for.
We had all kinds of issues with my apartment on the day of the move. The elevator broke down and they were doing construction out front, so let's just say that the poor movers had to things the hard way.
But these guys were troopers and they got me moved upstairs and around the corner within 5 hours.
I bought them soda and pizza for a job well done and gave them a deserving tip.

Original (Aug 11): I am sharing an "in progress" review; we selected Upline for an interstate move from the Bay Area based on other reviews, and a discussion with a representative. The team did a fantastic (5-star) job on moving our stuff out of our house, and into storage, and was highly communicative through the point when they had all our stuff and most of our money. HOWEVER - they have been all but impossible to reach since. Just moved in June 2021 from California to Washington. Everything that distinguishes this company from others is a lie: they do contract out all of their services. The whole experience felt like pulling teeth to get the bare minimum level of response and still paid a premium for nothing.
They took 5 hours to pack up minimal furniture - we had done all of the other packing - in a tiny, single story house. Disassembled pieces of furniture they didnt need to - bent and manhandled everything else. Half the boxes looked like they had been thrown down the stairs.

After posting the review, the sales manager gave me a call. It was a productive conversation. I finally received the refund on the extra hours that I paid for.
As I mention before, their employees are nice and know what they are talking about and the movers are awesome. I moved to a new development, so I'm seeing other moving company and comparing them to Upline Moving. There is a huge different. We don't have much of little boxes, but our furniture is heavy (not kidding). Their mover were able to move them from the ground level to our 3rd floor through 2

What an awful company to deal with. The sales person was initially professional and closed the deal, carefully taking inventory of everything in our home and providing an estimate (which was $4,000 higher than the other estimate by the way). The day the movers came went fairly well and they were decent about wearing masks and gloves. They came around 8am the first day and left pretty early (around 1pm). The next morning, they came at 8am, took quite a lot of long breaks and then finished (or so they thought) around 4pm. As I looked around our home, they had forgotten several drawers in the
