Whether you feel your teeth are the misshaped, crooked, stained, or chipped, Dr. Culler can treat your teeth using the latest aesthetic techniques and the finest materials. Dentistry is a forever evolving field. With the advancements in technology, we have the ability to scan your smile, and design a digital restoration.
A CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) is a 3-D x-ray scanner which enables us to take detailed diagnostic images of your mouth and jaw. This special x-ray equipment produces 3-D images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone. In one easy scan, the C-arm rotates 360 degrees around your head, capturing multiple images from different angles, producing a 3-dimensional picture.
When a tooth becomes weak, and a large filling can no longer maintain its structure, a crown may be necessary to help provide strength to the tooth to prevent it from breaking. Using our state-of-the-art Planmeca CAD/CAM Mill, we are able to make crowns in our office, in one appointment! First, Dr. Culler will "prep" your tooth by smoothing out the problematic area.
If you are looking to straighten out your smile without metal brackets and wires, this is the treatment for you. Dr. Culler will take a digital impression of your smile and bite which is then used to digitally craft your individual treatment plan. Using this impression, we can make a 3-D print out in office of what your final result will be.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Culler and his staff at Shem Creek Dental... They are so kind, and accommodating, efficient, and most importantly, skilled. I felt truly safe in Dr. Culler's care as he attended to multiple hours of dental work on me recently. Both him and his assistant were thoughtful and checked in on me regularly throughout the procedure, which made me feel at ease. My first two visits to Shem Creek Dental have been nothing less than excellent. The professional and friendly staff make you feel comfortable knowing that most people have a fear of the dentist. There is no pressure to complete any treatment that is diagnosed, instead, the doctor and his team choose to educate you with tools that allow you to see their findings. If you have insurance questions the team has the answers. I would highly recommend Dr Culler and his staff for all your dental care.

This place is absolutely awesome. Dr. Culler and his staff are incredible! A lot of people have serious reservations about going to the dentist, but fear no more. Every part of the process was smooth. The X-rays were easy, cleaning was very thorough and the hygienist was extremely informative, and Dr. Culler was highly knowledgeable and personable. I almost want to go back already!

Very friendly. Also they go out of their way to help you. I was ther today and I need to get a tooth pulled and a implant. I LOVE Shem Creek Dental Associates! For starters, I was able to get in for a cleaning and first time exam way quicker than I have experienced from any other dental office. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming and made it easy to register with their practice. Further, right when you walk in you can tell how well they upkeep the office and the space is bright and clean. My dental hygienist, Lisa, has tons of experience and did a super thorough deep cleaning while giving me some great dental care tips. If you live anywhere remotely close to this dental practice then you should strongly consider becoming a patient. It is one of the happiest and most positive environments I've ever experienced...and I'm not typically a fan of going to the dentist. Everyone on Dr. McPherson's team made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. Can't recommend them highly enough to do this group justice. I'm looking forward to my next visit...again, some words I'd NEVER think I would utter about going to the dentist.

I went to Dr. Morris at Shem Creek Dental for the first time last week and had a great experience. I was actually referred by my old dentist in Connecticut (Dr. Robert Breault of Cromwell Dental) who is now a business partner and owner at Shem Creek Dental. The receptionist staff and my hygienist were very welcoming, and I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Charleston area.
