Dr. Kristin Foley grew up in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, before attending Va. Tech for her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Animal Science. After graduation, she moved to North Carolina to explore different career paths in veterinary medicine before attending NCSU-CVM.
Dr. Foley graduated in 2002 and began a 1 year internship in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at a local emergency clinic that was associated with NCSU-CVM.Upon completing her internship, Dr. Foley remained as a training doctor at the emergency clinic for the next 5 years. During this time, she also worked regularly at several daytime veterinary practices.

We welcome new clients and love when our family grows! On your first visit, the veterinarian will perform a thorough physical exam and discuss the ideal plan for you and your pet. If your animal is having surgery, please take away all food by midnight the night before the procedure (it is ok to leave them with water).
Dental disease doesn't just cause bad breath; the bacteria that live under tartar can actually damage the liver, kidneys and heart. Therefore, we emphasize routine dental care and regular cleanings to ensure that your pet stays healthy. It can be difficult to brush an animal's teeth daily and therefore regular cleanings become imperative to their well-being.
Our veterinarian is proficient in almost any soft tissue surgery. Whether it is a pre-planned mass removal or emergency exploratory surgery, she is ready and able to provide excellent care for your pet. Over the years, she has performed nearly every abdominal surgery and is comfortable with even the most intense cases.

Dr.Foley was awesome up until she misdiagnosed my cats swollen ankle. We went a few times because it was growing, had x rays done, ran tests etc. She even consulted with an orthopedic as well and chalked it up to he may have “landed wrong” when jumping from a high surface and it’s never going to heal because he’s constantly using it. We went for a second opinion because my intuition was telling me somethings up. The new vet was like are you kidding me? That’s not a sprained ankle that’s a tumor. He said the fact that it grew this much in a short amount of time

Dr Foley, Ky’isha, Morgan and Tara go above and beyond for the animals!! Every one of my animals is treated as if they were their own. Dr Foley is wonderfully patient and always takes the time to make sure I understand what’s what and why it happened and if/how to prevent it! I drive 50 mins one way because I’ve yet to find a better vet!!

My cat, Chase, had an abscessed tooth and 3 other bad ones that Dr. Foley removed. They called as soon as he woke up from the surgery to let us know he did very well. They sent all his pain meds home, all measured out for us, and the doctor called the next day to check on him. It was an expensive, but fair price. A totally awesome experience - well, for us. Chase isn't talking about it. :D

Dr Foley and staff truly care about their patients. My new puppy had her first shots and needed some additional pain medicine and Dr Foley kept the office open late so I could come pick it up before I had to leave on a business trip. Then they called me the next day to make sure my doggie was doing better. Excellent customer service. I look forward to a long lasting relationship with their office.
