Computerized tomography (CT scan) or Computer Axial Tomography (CAT) scan is an imaging procedure that uses an X-ray machine connected to a computer. The scan creates cross-sectional images or slices of the internal structures of the body. Sometimes, a contrast material or dye may also be injected into your arm or any other part of your body for a better view of a particular area.
We offer cutting-edge radiation therapy technology, Varian Clinac 2 liX. Radiation therapy treatment is used to help kill, stop or slow the growth of cancerous cells especially during the early stages of cancer and help prevent its recurrence. It is used mostly to treat cancer and a few non-cancerous diseases.
Genesis Medical Group is pleased to offer In-House Laboratory Testing for the convenience of our patients in our CLIA-certified laboratory. In some cases, we will either collect your specimen in our office and send it to a reference laboratory, or it may be necessary for you to go to a laboratory drawing station located apart from our practice.
