I tried the Triple Play hero today and was not disappointed. Melted American cheese on top of two deep breaded chicken cutlets and a nice dollop of homemade chili. I have to tell you it exceeded all my expectations! The chili was so good that I'm going to order it on future sandwiches from this place and the hero is so huge it made for two lunches. I can't wait to order from this gem of a deli, again . You won't be hungry after eating this one !

For those boomers out there...Dagwood Bumstead sandwich and for the newer kids on the block, Shaggy and Scooby would be impressed! It's a real neighborhood deli with sandwiches so stacked I believe all these fast poison places should be paying Anthony royalty's for the 'super size' meal, and his doesn't cost extra! The hot cooked meals are better than some I had at home. Sorry dad, you can't throw any old leftovers into a can if Campbell's soup and think it's a meal, smh 🙄. If you've had an Anthony's sandwich you know what I'm talking about. If not, you've only got four more hours to go ðŸ˜

The BEST deli in New York, hands down! Not just in Westchester County, but in all of New York. Set back behind it's own parking lot, on Halstead avenue. If the parking is full, there is plenty of spaces on Halstead ave, please don't be lazy to walk a bit, it is well worth it. Breakfast is awesome, all combinations, and if you are really starving go for the "Breakfast Barge", that will definitely do the job. Lunch, just go with your own favorite, they will knock you off your feet. Besides, they have their own special sandwiches like "Godfather", or "Balboa", etc. The quantity of meat in sandwiches

Guy at the counter (the "youngest" one, & that's being generous) was rude and dismissive. Greeted us as if we were an inconvenience with a "What's up." He microwaved... Microwaved??!??!? our bacon egg & cheese sandwiches. Since when is that a thing? As you can see in the photo the cheese isn't even melted. My bagel was cold. As if it had been sitting waiting, which would make sense because he checked out multiple people in the meantime and had no problem being friendly with them. Didn't read our total, didn't look either of us in the eyes, and didn't say thank you. Don't take your miserable life

Made my way to New York from Texas to bury a dear friend. One of the bright spots in my pilgrimage was a visit to Anthony's. It's like a time warp, everything remains the same. Enormous wedge sandwiches..... Same price....... Same people. This place is timeless and really really good. I only come up every couple years.... And I always make it a point to visit my favorite deli.

Pick up order for Graduation celebration on Memorial Day weekend. This is a busy place and recommended from my neighborhood Facebook group. I went in person for the the order, phone was always busy.
Italian combo wedge and chicken cutlet wedge, potato salad, sausage & pepper tray, plus grilled veggies. Expertly displayed. They forgot to give my husband the sausage &peppers, called me and offered to deliver. Stellar customer service.

Hate to write a bad review on this place since my family and I have been going here for years. Seems as if the quality of product has greatly decreased in recent orders. The past 3 times we have called in orders they have been made very wrong and the hero's were made about half the size (which is the reason we drive out of our way to go to Anthony's for the fat hero's they are well known for). Below is a picture of what is supposed to be an "American combo wrap" which only came with cheese. Writing this not to bash the place, but hoping that they will return to the Anthony

This place is fantastic. Great sandwiches, reasonable price, and big flavors. I have only been here once and walking in was very busy. They are keeping with in covid rules. Definitely a go-to place in the neighborhood. Highly recommend to call ahead with an order if you don't want to wait online. They are cash only with an atm inside. No credit cards are accepted. A small parking lot and usually packed street parking. Definitely will be back to try again. 12/12/2020

Still have a chunk of the Italian left over
I just picked up two trays of food for tonight's dinner meatballs and a pasta dish for $40 I don't know how they do it but you get plenty of great Food for your money last week we order the chicken scarp And it was delicious as well. We order what they call a family dish and again you will not get better food for the price anywhere to me the best deli in the area for sure super service as well
