Science Based Wellness aims to heal the root cause of an illness -- not just stop the symptoms. We work to prevent, diagnose, heal and manage acute and chronic conditions. No single approach is good for each patient. Some tools we use include personalized nutritional plans, nutritional counseling, supplement support, lifestyle coaching, and wellness education.
When disease occurs, regardless of the name of the condition, it is vitally important to try to find out why the disease or symptom developed otherwise how can you possibly know how to treat or correct the condition? This is the stark difference between a HEALTH expert and a SICKNESS model expert. Let's use a flat tire as an example.
Dr. Nickels has practiced as a Board Certified Nutritional Physician and Chiropractic Physician in the Jacksonville area for over 33 Years. Best Doctor ever!!! Have been going to him for about 20 years now. The whole family goes, even the 1 year old twins!!. Dr. NIckels is very thorough and patient with everyone. He always listens to everything you have to say and then proceeds with his advise and treatment. The whole family loves him and will not go to any other chiropractor.

My experience with Dr. Nickels has resulted in a pain-free neck after continuous adjustments to relieve a pinched nerve and arthritic disc.

My family has known Dr Nickels for almost 10 years. He is a wonderful chiropractor and is extremely knowledgeable! He started adjusting my kiddos when they were just a days old. Dr Nickels is very good at what he does and he actually takes the time to listen to your concerns and not just do a quick adjustment on you the way so many other chiropractors do. It is rare to find a Dr that practices like that anymore these days!!
