My aim is to improve my patients' mental well-being and, by extension, their general quality of life. At my private practice in Calabasas, CA, I can help you work through a wide range of diagnostic issues, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, relationship issues, couple therapy, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), divorce, grief/loss troubles, and being a victim of crime.
In addition to traditional therapy, I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Anger Management. I believe that the most important factor in my therapy's effectiveness is the relationship between myself and my clients. Education, training, and experience are important, but so too is developing a relationship of trust and comfort between us.

Services
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over a decade, a profession that has fascinated me for nearly all of my life. I went to school to pursue this captivating field at Philips Graduate Institute and completed my internship at California Counseling and Jewish Family Services.
I have since gone through rigorous training in EMDR and earned my certification in EMDR, a method frequently and often successfully used to treat those with big or small traumas, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.I have also gone through extensive training for anger management and earned my certification in Anger Management.

No two people share the same struggles, and accordingly, a therapist cannot hope to help their clients with a one-size-fits-all strategy. I strive to understand each of my clients' individual struggles and cater their therapy in a way that will best help them heal. In addition to traditional therapy, I specialize in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Development and Reprocessing) therapy, and Anger Management.

Nadia is a warm and kind therapist! I worked with her for several months and she helped me with passing my board exams and work through some anxiety and depression. The main modality we used was EMDR, which I was wary to do at first, but Nadia made sure to build trust with me before we started that process. She was a great therapist, and she is the reason my mental health has improved!

She doesn't take the responsibility of administering EMDR seriously. She was encouraging me to do it even when I was severely depressed, even though it involves confronting old trauma. She is too disorganized or possibly lazy to employ many of the safety steps needed to do EMDR safely. She never told me I could stop the process at any time which is key to feeling more empowered in regards to the trauma in the present (vs. how disempowering it was when it happened). We also never prepared by deciding which traumas to cover. Instead she just haphazardly had me pick a trauma and gave me no guidance
