Founded by the Morrissey family in 2014, VELOCITY Dance and Theater prides itself on offering every student a solid foundation in the performing arts, while encouraging a strong work ethic, teamwork, and fun! VELOCITY Dance and Theater brings experience, excitement, dedication and integrity to every part of our business, and we look forward to telling you more about the opportunities available for you and your family.
My daughter has been in dance for ten years but this year seems different. She has danced with some of the teachers and many other students for a couple of years in other studios. Yet there is something unique about this year at Velocity Dance and Theater. She is so full of excitement and positive energy for what they are creating here.
Students have the option to compete a monologue or a scene with another student. BravO! Dance and Talent Competition offers the wonderful chance for theater performers to compete at Regional and National competitions. Each student must have an audition/meeting with teacher Hannah to be evaluated before determining if the performer is ready to compete.
We offer convenient online registration for all of our classes. Please use this link to register for classes whether you are a new student OR an existing customer. We are updating our records as we integrate this new registration system and appreciate your help with this! I cannot say enough positive things about Velocity Dance & Theater! This is really an amazing dance studio! The instructors are wonderful! They are patient, kind, encouraging and really gifted. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a competitive program or recreational program.

My daughters absolutely love Velocity! Run by an amazing family that makes you feel welcome from day one and keeps you wanting to come back for more. My daughters have especially loved all of the theater classes. Ms Hannah gives so much to the program. The experience is simply wonderful and the performances are justifiably impressive.

We are starting our 6th year at Velocity Dance & Theater in the competitive dance program. We absolutely love the studio! The teachers are top notch, the choreography is fabulous and the families are 1 in a million. The studio schedule is flexible and has allowed my dancers to also dance on their High School Dance Team. The studio draws dancers from all over. Both my dancers have made life long friends here which makes this place even more special. Hands down the best dance studio around!
