Marissa Rodriguez received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019 from California State University, Chico with a major in Criminal Justice along with a minor in Psychology. While attending Chico State University she interned with the Community Legal Information Center with the Penal Law department. If you want to waste your money and time, hire Mesnik Law Group. Partner, Matt Mesnik, is a high-conflict attorney who has dragged out my custody and division of assets for over THREE years. He wrote an incorrect FOAH (Findings of Order After Hearing) which cost me over $9K to address. He can't even get a simple division of assets for two cars. He's also unwilling to work with the opposing party to follow many psychologists' recommendations of custody. His goals are clearly NOT to resolve family issues, but to drag a case out for as long as possible for his financial interest

This office is so unorganized and unprofessional, it will cost you thousands of additional dollars. Mr. Mesnik is overworked and doesn't read your emails. I had to schedule a call with him to make him read my emails while on the phone.
My temp spousal support order took 9 months and 4 hearings, because in the first hearing, the judge asked for an updated IED. For the second hearing, the IED was submitted by his office to the Court one day before, even though I sent it to him 4 weeks prior. So the hearing was wasted and postponed again. The third hearing, he missed submitting my IED with paystubs

I came to have 1 1/2 hours consultation on my served divorce with Adrian on 05/17/2021. Whatever questions I had for him regarding those basic Form FL-100, FL140, he did not answer/explain my questions but saying the petitioner's lawyer did not have specific for everything. Therefore, I had no answers for my questions, and waste my time and money to pay for the consultation.

I don't even know where to start with Adrian. Subbing Adrian in on my high-conflict military divorce military divorce case was one of the best choices I made throughout my litigation. At first, I really couldn't understand clearly his advice and actions throughout my case and sometimes I fought him on it. But he always remained calm and collected. My case is not over yet but I am extremely grateful to have him as my attorney. He was always upfront even when I was not understanding. He has fought for me AND the rightful way. Caitlin Steele has been and still is an amazing attorney during my divorce and child custody. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This law firm represented my wife and I in a case. It wasn't until after we terminated their services that their true colors were revealed. The fact is they didn't represent us the way we wanted them to, their WEAK approach to our case was "let's get this all documented so you can appeal it later", really?? In other words, just keep giving us your hard earned money even though we know we can't win this case for you. So we terminated services and guess what? My wife and I won our case on our own. What an amazing family law attorney! I have known Ms. Steele for nearly 5 years. She represented me during my divorce and first custody battle in 2013. She recently represented me through my complex move away custody request. This move away request involved a forensic child custody evaluation and was about as complicated a case as it gets.

Matthew Mesnik was professional from the first day I met him to the last day of my divorce case. My case was about 2 years long and not once did Matthew throw his arms up and cave in. He fought for me every step of the way. At the time I felt I would not have a voice in my divorce at all, but he made my opinion matter throughout the whole case. He handled my case as a priority and not once did he forget our court dates. He showed up to the court house before I did showing great interest on pursuing in my case.
