Broken Sprocket Garage (BSG) is an independent motorcycle repair shop in East Aurora, NY (a suburb just outside of Buffalo, NY) that specializes in "garage built" bobbers, choppers, and cafe-style bikes. Owned and operated by me, David Roberts since 2010. A real one man show, and family operated business.
After working for years as a mechanic and technician at a local Harley Davidson dealership, I decided to start my own business, running Broken Sprocket Garage with the motto: "no attitudes, just good service". I also believe in giving back to the community and do so by donating event proceeds to local charities and also sponsoring the Town of Aurora Baseball team.

The bikes presented here were modified or built by Broken Sprocket Garage either for personal use or for a customer. Want to build the bike of your dreams? Get in touch. This bike started out as a 1970-something 74 shovelhead. The bike inherited its name "Sheila Monster" from its previous owner. We freshened up the mill and transplanted it in a Paugco wishbone frame and added a TON of custom and hand-made parts.

Brought my bike in for new tires, seat, sissy bar and tune up. Paid for storage for the winter as well. (1900 total) Owner (Dave) was insistent I have the bike out of his shop the first week in May. I had to ride it from his Shop in East Aurora to the west side of Buffalo in steady rain with temperatures in the low 40s. Approximately 25 miles. Parked the bike in my yard and it sat until I rode with my wife on the back to Rochester. Approximately 35-40 miles into my ride I got a front flat at fifty miles an hour. Broken Sprocket Garage is my go-to motorcycle shop in the Buffalo area. I live in the city but always take the short drive to East Aurora to talk to David (owner) and get his expert opinion. This guy lives and breathes motorcycles and is truly passionate about what he does. You simply don't get that at some of the other places that I've been to. He is also very patient with the questions that I have for him, and always offers an affordable solution. If you live in the Buffalo or surrounding area, you're really missing out by not giving him a visit. He does everything from NYS motorcycle inspections
